Driving an 82 olds for 3 years I picked up from a little old lady, finally gave up. First it decided to only get me to work and back then just wouldnt start after a week. So I decided to search for a vibe which I was set on getting anyway just at a somewhat later date, but ah well s** happens Wasnt in the mood to fix the olds.I called all over, and had about 4 dealers at one point trying to find me a base vibe with auto and power only, in neptune or shadow. These Ottawa guys never even offered to help me, they just said 6-8 months, sorry. Maybe I just got the bad ones but oh well, when I get something in my head theres no stopping me.They all had a really hard time, but one guy stood out, lets call him Victor from belleville. He worked really hard and felt that he earned my business. The problem was nobody would trade with him or they just werent available. He ended up finding the car I wanted but turned out it was in toronto and he was in belleville about 150km away or so, and I was in ottawa another 240 or so km away, and you guessed it, they wouldnt trade. The deal went through as him being sort of the middle man, he didnt make a whole lot im sure but just the fact of how much he wanted to help me out went a long way with me and is much appreciated. To top it all off, when it was time to pick it up, I took a bus from Ottawa to trenton where I was met with an associate of Victor and from there was driven into toronto. She even came in with me, went over everything with me to make sure it was all straight and I understood all the documentation. This was a totally separate dealer from Victor, they definately didnt have to do that.So after many phone calls, and searching and bus rides to work I picked up my vibe on Nov 8th, drove it to niagara falls for its once look over from the friends and family. The entire process from the olds dieing to picking up the vibe took about 2 weeks or just shy actually. For all you guys still waiting, hang in there, its well worth it. Its now back in Ottawa and I can now say I am a proud owner of two of Gm's best. Id like to post a pic, if someone can help me out with that...
