GenVibe - Community for Pontiac Vibe Enthusiasts

Does anybody else experience this? I only hear it when in 4-6 gear. When I let off the gas it quiets down, on the gas gets louder. I know we don't have alot of insulation in these cars, but it seems quite loud. I was just wondering if this might be normal or if I should have it checked out.( don't want to sit at dealer for who knows how long to be told its normal)

I'd check the fluid level of the trany. If it low then fill it up and make sure it's not leaking from somewhere. If it normal then you should probably see a dealer.

Had it checked out today, was told there was too much fluid( almost 1 quart!) They put correct level in and took it on a test ride, problem seems to be fixed. Got no explanation on why there was too much fluid in it, my guess is the little robot got carried away.

I should have said maybe to much fluid, but I figured more on it being low. Oh well glad you got it fixed.
