I've noticed a couple of you guys are near RED BANK, NJ, and I think I saw someone that was listed near the mall that "MallRats" was made at.....I'm a HUGE Kevin Smith Fan.....just wanted to share!!

I'd love to have pics of my Vibe in front of the stash, the Quik Stop, and the Mall.....sighs.....too bad I'm in TN....

Which mall was it, since I never saw mall rats. If it's Monmouth, I'll gladly go snap some shots for ya!

I own less than 10 DVD's... And all of the KS movies (except that Jersey Girl one) are all part of my collection. IIRC, the mall where Mallrats was filmed was in Eden Prarie, Minnesota. From what I gather, there was ample vacant space there to create all those the fake storefronts.Is Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash still open in Red Bank? In Minneapolis, they filmed in the Eden Prairie Center which was a half-hollow mall about 45 minutes from the famous Mall of America. (According to an on-set reporter, most of the cast's free time was spent at the Mall of America.) In Red Bank, they filmed at the US1 Flea Market, otherwise known as the Dirt Mall. Don't plan any nostalgia trips, though, because the Dirt Mall was torn down after filming.As to their secret stash store, I'll have to get back to you on that...

LOL!35 Broad Street is a short 10 minute walk from my beloved Rassas Pontiac! Next time the Vibe is getting serviced I'll have to check that out!
