The original 194x model it's based on probably had a white-painted grille and wheels with small chrome 'dog-dish' style hubcaps, if any. On this, um styling exercise, it might be an improvement. It makes me wonder if the guy who styled the Aztek is doing grilles for Chevy now.

Something tells me that Chrysler will be pissed off when that comes out. It almost has the same exact body lines as the PT. It looks a little more brutish, but it is a deadringer for the PT..

Am I the only one who likes it?So here's a question though. Given that this vehicle is being built on the new GM small vehicles platform, what do you suppose the chances are that the Vibe will migrate to this same platform and become HHR's Pontiac cousin? The only thing I would hope is that the look of the Vibe doesn't change if it does.

Hell, I like it. I'd much rather have the lil' RWD 2-door wagon Nomad concept based upon the Solstice platform though. But this'll do....

I could be wrong though. My neighbor does interior trim for GM and that vehicle in particular, he too said PT rip off.The PT will be around for a few more years...

The only thing I would hope is that the look of the Vibe doesn't change if it does.Don't get me wrong it is a pretty nice looking vehicle. I think it would be more appealing to me if it was a little more squat. It is very high profile. I realize that it is taking after the Suburban and whatnot, but if you were to chop the top about 4 inches and shorten it about a foot then you would have your self a very nice vehicle. I also noticed that the window switches are located on the lower portion of the dashboard. When did that all of a sudden become cool? I find it to be rather cheap and awkward. Just one more similar thing that it has with the PT. About the platform, I am not sure if the Vibe would fit on it. Maybe it is just the picture but the HHR looks like it is a lot longer than the Vibe. They would probably have to complete redesign the Vibe to make it work on that platform. Just my .02.

It might not fit. It does appear a little larger and one article I found says that it is larger than the PT Cruiser. Of more interest might be the fact that Bryan Nesbitt (one of the designers for the PT) had a hand in designing the HHR. That should explain everything!
