ok, my cousin has an 82 firebird with the flip up headlights. he needs help setting up some sort of switch to make the headlights flip up and down. (the headlights work by switching the where the negative and positive wires connect) right now he is using 4 wires and connecting them by hand. it is an old car and has been jimmy rigged in many ways. does anyone have a suggestion as to some sort of toggle he can use where he is using a switch instead of bare wires?

Here's a link to a good Firebird/Camaro forum that should be able to help you/him out.: http://www.3rdgen.org/bb/

Drunken, electrical is not my specialty but possibly he can use a four-five post relay and then a switch. Just like wiring a set of fog lamps. Just a thought, maybe it would work...
