Do Factory, Remote Door Locks work while car is running?

Have my Vibe torn apart putting in Remote start, alarm, etc. Anyone close to their Vibe to check for me if the factory, remote door locks work with the remote while the car is running?Thanks,BigD

IIRC, the remote does not work while the key is in the ignition.

The remote doesn't even work if the key is just in the ignition with the engine off! (Don't ask me how I know this. )

Remote start /keyless stuff can bypass this limitation, though.
