per request, here is the story about how i got 18 screws and 2 metal plates in my right femur:it was a little over 3 years ago. i was at a friends apartment that i had never been to before, which had some woods behind it. i love to walk through the woods and look around, so after having a few drinks but not being drunk (i stress that, i would admit if i was drunk) i decided to check it out. (approx 10pm) my friend warned me that there was a cliff out there, so i was very weary about going into the woods. my friends and i were looking around at the edge of the woods, trying to find a trail. one of my buddies shouts "hey i found a trail over here!" so, i go to the "trail" and start to walk down it. it did look like a trail afterall. i took about 4 steps then i slipped and BOOM! i felt a huge blow to my chin, folllowed by a bit of wind, followed by a hard impact on my (removed). i laid there for a second, stunned. my chin felt hot, so i touched it my finger went into the gaping hole in my chin. then i realized my leg felt funny, so i looked at it and it was facing a strange direction. i realized i had broken my leg. so, the fire department comes and i have to be hoisted out on one of those board things with a rope. they said the hole was 20-30 ft deep! that was defninitely an experience. i went through very painful physical therapy until my parents insurance ran out (i was getting out of college). my knee was unlocked, but i couldnt walk at all. not being able to afford therapy, i did it on my own. how did i walk again? it may sound stupid, but i would get trashed and hobble around on my leg little bit by little bit!i still walk with a limp sometimes, but mostly, i am just fine now.

WOW! That's a hell of a story, glad to see that you are ok after such a fall.

That is too funny in a sick way! If it had come from anyone else, I would not believe it! Glad you are OK, what an experience is right! Did you see the light????I have a killer drill and could put more screws in your leg if you want me to!
