Fog light replacement (a cheaper alternative!)

I bought foglights from Canadian Tire $69.99 and installed them without any difficulty in an hour or so.I found after using my fogs like this that the light spread wasn't great so I've rotated them 90º. I made two small square blocks 3/8" thick from a piece of aluminium plate, drilled a hole to allow a screw to pass through that would line up with the existing hole in the fog light housing. The blocks are just a spacer so that the mounting bracket can pull down solidly. Once I had the parts together it took me about 1/2hr to do the modification.I've used them for a while like this and find that the light spread is much better.

Just had to buy more fog lights as one of these are broken now too. At least the same ones are still in stock and three years later still the same price - now I'll have a spare

What is the red triangle shaped item on the left top below the glass of your rear door? At first I though the license plate was from NC like mine, but then I saw where you really are with all that snow. Thanks for photos.

I bought mine in february at a dealership and didn't notice at the time, but they sold me a car with a shattered foglight! There is tape covering the light to try and make it look better, but if you look closely it doesn't look good at all. I am wanting to know where I could buy a replacement for not too expensive.
