lol, I sure wish he could. I really miss watching NHL games. Not having this season is driving me nuts! I'm left with watching football!

I believe the NHL must contract. There are too many teams and not enough “pro†talent to go around. Sure goals are down, not because goalies use bigger equipment but because they are better now then ever and the talent just isn’t there anymore. I’m a goalie, I stick up for my union members Remember back in the mid 80’s when there was only 21 teams and you had to score at least four goals to win a game? The players also have to realize they are not going to make huge money playing the game, baseball will be in the same boat when it’s contract is up, because the players make all the money and the owners will want some of that money too. AS for what to do with the players from the teams that are let go, give them a base stipend and tell them good luck, if they are good enough and get picked up by another team fine, if not, there are plenty of other leagues they can play in. It’s a shame that such a great game has to suffer like this, but they created their own monster by putting franchises where they don’t belong. OH, one more thing...to me the most important thing that must be worked on is Canada, hockey is a Canadian sport and anything and everything must be done to keep teams in Canada, I could not see an NHL without the Oilers or the Habs. Just my two cents.
