Tire warranties. How fun!

So I got a screw in my front left tire on Thanksgiving, and due to work, have been unable to get it looked at until today. I have the 17" option, and thus the Dunlop SP Sport 9000's. So I noticed my roadside hazard warranty, figure 'Cool, i'm set'. Go to a Goodyear today... and oh look, my front tires only had 2/32" of an inch of tread! Warranty's void! Argh...so I had to shell out $400 for a pair (yes, two) Goodyear Eagle RS-A's. The tires were $164 apiece, down from the $215 for the Dunlops. Just an aggrivating morning..having to spend $400 for something I had a warranty for, that became void. ARGH. Just complaining...

Man that blows! Sorry to hear your luck man. I gotta get new tires soon because the other day, I was going onto an on ramp and I went to go turn and I turned the steering wheel all the way to the right and I was still goin straight . So, I gotta ask my dad. He doesn't have much money spare either. That's what sucks.Inder

Exactly my problem. I also took a look at the sticker price, the 17" option was $400 on it's own! Man..what a deal Pontiac must've gotten on those tires..

Just a question for y'all. I am new to the forum but not a new Vibe owner...love my vibe. I have just over 60,000 kms on my Vibe and had to replace my two front tires. They were down to the wear bar. Is this normal? I do like to have fun with my vibe but rarely have I burned rubber.

27,000 miles and never burnt rubber. I also have the 17" High performance tire & wheel package, and the high performance tires tend to wear faster than others.

22500 miles on a 2004. And yes, I have burned rubber and I'm going to try to make my tires last through the winter. Also, I went on tirerack and I found out something. The Goodyear Eagles are actually worse then the Conti's. Goodyears:http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...1=yesC ... 1=yesInder
