Hello, I have a 2004 vibe, and I park it in the morning and when I return in the afternoon (approx 9 hrs later) there is moisture on the windows, steering wheel,dash,etc...Does anyone know if this is an existing problem and why this happens? Is there a way to fix it?thanks,

take all the trim off the spare tire area and tell me if there is water in there remove the plastic tub the tire sits in and look under it

Also, take out the floor mat on the passenger's side front... Check if your carpet is wet. Could be the drain tube for the air conditioner has become loose, and any condensation made from running the defrost or A/C could be leaking on your carpet instead of draining outside the car...
http://forums.genvibe.com/zero...29740I need to have a good look around mine for sure, I am beginning to notice more moisture in the air than should normally be present... Takes nothing to really fog up the windows, worse than it used to be... I probably have a leak somewhere too. Not as if yet another problem with this thing should surprise me... lolAlso, what position is the mode knob set to? I believe if left in defrost mode, it could possibly cause some fogging when the car sits. Think I read that somewhere around here...Best of luck to you!

Another common issue is operating for long periods in recirculation mode during cold weather. This will allow moist air to accumulate.

Very valuable info there JohnC... I keep forgetting about TechLink, I only check it out every few months. Time for me to see what else I have missed.
