http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ Install this and run it to clean up your system

Had this happen to me the other day at work... I don't have the luxury of having my cube to myself, so when I'm off, others are sitting there. Somebody got the box all crudded up with that junk. So, I ran Adaware and Spybot, which blasted plenty of evil apps, but the box still wasn't right. Every time I tried to go to google using M$IE, I kept getting 'this page can not be displayed.' Every other site worked fine, and I could go to google using my browsers (using Opera or Firefox.) I worked on it for quite some time, never could get it fixed, so I just sent an e-mail to the boss asking "nuke this, please." Ahh, I love getting home to my Linux boxes where I don't have to worry about that crap.
