Does anyone know if the single cd player in the Vibe has rca preamp outs on the back of it? If not does the amp under the seat take in preamp levels if so can i splice off of it to run to another amp? Also where is the best place to get power to the back of the car for a amp? Last question, what is the thing under the drivers seat (little sliver box)thanks,

The factory radio does not have pre-amp outputs. You can get an adpater for that at Circuit City.

Get a new head unit...And if u wanna run wires to the back, do what i did. Unscrew the back passenger seat behind the driver (just the bottom screws) and stick the amp under it,(if u need to hide it). Then run a wire from ur battery to the back seat and stuff it under the running board and all that. For the negative just connect it to a screw near by.The factory amp cant be used with anything. And the silver box is the power inverter for the 110v outlet.

Bah u dont need ventilation... You could try to install a 80mm computer case fan on the side of the seat by the door... i was gonna do that but i just left it. I think my amp over heated once when i was drivin for an hour and a half blastin my musik. Umm and another thing, dont let fat people sit on it, the cushion is gonna be stiffer

My amp fit easily under the front passenger seat. The amp controls are then within reach along the outboard seat edge. Cross-overs went under driver seat.
