Hi..I just bought a new 2005 Vibe a month ago. My question is I didn't get the visor extensions like other 2005s have. The sales literature states that they are standard UNLESS the car has side air bags. I don't have the side air bags and did not get the extensions (a feature I really wanted for those long trips on sunny days). Should I have got them or is this a hit and miss standard option that the factory will do on some cars and not on others depending on how they feel that day? I know they are on 2004s. Thanks for listening and hopefully helping.
Oh man do I feel like an (removed). I just figured it out! I have had extensions in the past. They were simply plastic pieces hidden inside the visor. You would grab an end and side it out. Well. the Vibe DOES have something similar that works well. You just grap the entire visor and slide it on the track. the whole visor moves. Works GREAT. Am I the only idiot on earth that did not know this? (maybe you should not answer! )
the visor extensions are not your typical extension. The visor itself actually slides to the side. At least that's the way it is in my Vibe. I didn't even know they did that for several months after I got the car and I did it accidently.EDIT: whoa! you beat me!

ebslopp..I don't feel so bad now! At least there is one other person that didn't know it for a while. Maybe Pontiac should show people this when they buy a car. I be there are Vibe owners out there that will never know this Of course, this is probably covered in the manual. but I am a guy...I don't read manuals!
