Horn Question

Ok. So I got a new set of horns. They're not wonderful, but they seem better than the POS that is in there as stock. Anyway, I need additional wire and another screw/nut to install the second horn on the opposite side. Does anyone know what gauge wire I need, and where I can get an appropriate nut and bolt, and maybe what size? Is that somethin I can grab at home depot, or do I need to go to an auto parts store for that. Same questions about the wire, can I go to radioshack? Thanks!

If your just wanting wire and a nut and bolt go to walmart. It'll be much cheaper there. Use the same gauge wire that was hooked up to the original horn.

Haha...I go to Walmart for everything too. Like said, just stick with the same guage wire, and if they dont have it, get the next larger size.

I don't need some special nut/bolt that will be rustproof or conductive or anything? I can just grab any old one?

Stainless steel would be nice. No rust.

What about zinc? I saw many zinc today. Does zinc rust or react with the metal in the engine block and framing?

Zinc is cheap, and it corrodes easily compared to steel. Avoid using them with electronics because it also has poorer conductive properties.
