Hey POLO,I picked up the 195/65 15s X-ICE and installed them this week at home. I got the Canadian Tire special for $131 (reduced that by $50 in Canadian Tire discount card and 9 bucks in "funny money") I got the rims from a dealer for $52 and $10 to balance. The only extra thing I needed was new nuts (nice chrome ones for $25) Total was about $850 tax incl. Where dod you get the wheel cover and how much?

I'm liking the feel of the X-ice on the road. They're not noisy or rumble and feel firm at highway speed. We had a cold snap a couple of days ago and I tried a hard brake on some ice and a little slip but it held (no ABS). I do feel the difference dropping to the 195 from 205 because the steering is a bit more sensitive but I'm compensating. Thanks everyone on the board for helping me find the right tire (at a better price that the stock 205/55 R16). I save more than $300 buck and feel ready for the winter.Maybe I'll see you guys in Montreal in the spring.A

I got 15" steelies with Uniroyal Tiger Paw Ice&Snows (195/65) from my dealer (Butlers) for $480. I checked the price for the X-Ices, and Butlers was $1 cheaper, but included balance and valve stem, which CT here told me they didn't include. So...Tires - $48015" Steelies - $220Lug nuts - $17.50My car sitting in the parking lot right side up after a 13" snow fall... Priceless...Sorry, I had too lol.
