Lug Nuts for steel rims

I got a set of factory steel rims and hubcaps for my Vibe to use for a set of winter tires. Problem is I need the factory lugnuts for the steel rims and factory hubcaps. My Vibe has the aluminum rims and the lugnuts will not work with the hubcaps. I went to the dealer and it was $7 per lugnut......I thought that was kinda high. Anyone know where I can get 10 lugnuts for the steel wheels with the hubcaps?

Try a junk yard or auto parts store. They should be a standard size.

Yeah, for the steel wheels they're a generic part. My tire store had a bucketfull of them and threw them in with the wheels and tires, N/C.

Yes you are right. My dealership said the same thing but I got them for 1.25 each. Check the dealer again because 7 bucks each may be for the aluminum wheels lug nuts. A full set will cost about 25 bucks.Check the dealer again or go to Toyota.Good luck

Checker, Auto Zone etc. Just bring one of yours in to match the thread type.

it's not the size that makes them special. is the fact that the lugs are female and male treads. the hub cab fake lugs screw onto the steel lugs. you may find the right size at a auto parts store, but i doubt you'll find the double tread type.

I called a couple of different dealerships and they all quoted me a price of $9.00/each, that's $180 + tax for all !I had the size written down before I can't recall now... can you please tell me what the proper lug size would be for a 16" steel rim.?Thank you
