My fiancee is from Rochester Hills. If I where to live in another place than Cincinnati, I think that would be my pick. Though they need to do something about the roads.

Let's see, 10 minute drive in Rochester...that means, you must live across the street from where you work. Oakland Co. traffic is MURDER!!!

Oakland Co. traffic is MURDER!!!Make that 15-20 min.I agree Oakland County traffic is murder. To be honest, some of them dont know how to drive. Compared to Detroit it's a big adjustment you're constantly in your mirrors making sure no one's going to rear end you. MOST ROAD RAGE INCIDENTS HAPPEN IN OAKLAND COUNTY. Sorry Oakland County just being honest

I would hate to be behind the guy making a left turn (no left turn lanes). But on the other hand they are smoother than Detroit/Wayne County roads. I'll take the smoother roads anyday.

Kinda funny that the houses on them can be upwards of a million dollars.

I never understood why they never paved the side streets. I guess they really don't want the extra traffic. Not only that that also answers the question on why there are so many cars riding around here with "CAKED ON DIRT" on their cars.ewwwwww!!!!

I would venture to say that the less roads they have to upkeep, the better. I've seen new roads up there go to hell within one year while here in southern Ohio, roads can last 10 years without a pothole.

I think that's another "Fleecing of America" when it comes to road work.
