How to clean the inner side of windshield?

I found my inner side windshield is dirty, especially when there is sunlight. I can see a thin layer dirty look like fog. I used a tissue, but that doesn't work well. Anyone can help with this problem? Thanks.

Windows have always been my weak point... But, I've been using Stoner Invisible Glass for cleaning the windows over the last several years and have had pretty good results with it.Sounds like you may have a layer of gunk built up from the interior plastics breaking down and whatnot... That stuff may work for you.

Any person who uses tissues or paper towels to clean windows is nuts. They're lint-filled and ineffective. You'll likely accomplish nothing at all, or maybe even make your problem worse, Inside or out, use microfiber cloths if you can find them, otherwise, any lint-free cloth.Cleaning interior windows is no different than exterior windows.

coffee filters work great as a lint free cloth! I saw it on some car care show, and have done it a few times. As far as a cleaning solution, use windex with amonia. It won't fog up with cold weather.

I've seen postings that have said window detergents (like windex) can harm the dash if they drip/overspray onto it. They discolor it.So, I've been using RainEx anti-fog wipes and they've worked really well on the windows. Check Pep Boys, Walmart, Target, etc.(Just don't use them to clean the gauge covers. I did and it was a mess.)

As always, you should test an inconspicuous area of the material you are cleaning prior to cleaning the entire area.

I've been using the Armor-All Window cloths, and can't be more happy with them. They clean like magic - especially if you use a good circular motion I notice they clean better than using large side-to-side or up-down strokes.Occasionally they leave a little bit of dust/fibres - but that's usually if they're starting to dry out and you're still using it.Other than that - really happy with them, and I use them pretty much exclusively for window cleaning now.

The thing I don't like about them is that they are much too wet. I always have to wring them out a little before using.

ebslopp, your banner is too big, you have to scroll over to read what everyone is writing. That is annoying and the banner should not be allowed on the page no matter anyones political beliefs that is what I thought the political forum was for.

my banner is not any taller than ragingfish or silverawd26's signature. If you don't want to have to scroll over signatures, just turn show signatures off in user options.

ebslopp-I think he's complaining about the width, not the heigth. It probably forces the forum view to be wider than the screen at the resolution he's using, so he has to scroll right-left to see all the text.Personally, I think it's awesome but you might consider shrinking it a bit - don't want to (removed) off the undecided's....
