I have installed a lightning audio amp and 10" dual sub. I hooked up the wires, red to battery, black to ground, blue to a manual switched positive.I then went under the seat and spliced into the yellow and black A4 and A5 pins and ran speaker wire with a RCA plug to the input on the sub amp.WOW it sounds great. now my problem:when i turn the key on everything is fine but when i start the car I don't get any sound anywhere, untill i unplug the RCA plug at the input at the sub amp and plug it back in then everything works.any ideas?

Yeah, you need a line output converter to convert the signal you're picking up to ACTUAL line level. What's coming from the radio is NOT line level, and you're probably damaging either the radio, or either amplifier each time you turn it on. If you want to wire it with the speaker wiring, you need to use the hi-level inputs on the amplifier. Otherwise, you need the line-level converter to convert the signal to actual RCA level, and run real RCAs to the back.
