How many times have you bent a rim so much it had to be replaced?

Wow, Mike! Either you need to move to a "frost free" (no pot holes) state, or run 70 psi to save your rims!

Lots of potholes, and shoulders that are jagged...I try my hardest to avoid them, but it's just not always possible...I drive backroads to work...the major highways are in terrific shape. The backoads, not so much.Oh, and for the record, the second rim was the fault of Canada.

I've owned a car with a bent rim, but I didn't do it. My ex did it when he smashed up my Bunny. He's a maniac on wheels.Surprisingly, I'm doing good with the Vibe & the aluminum rims, even here in Canada

One thing I'll say for sure, my Kumho tires have taken quite a beating! 3 busted rims, but no damage to the tires!

Two (steel) rims on one monster hole - front and back wheel on the same side! A friend of mine also bent two front rims on an 8' piece of 4"x4" lumber laying crosswise in the road.

Wow! Thats a lot of money. Why can't Michigan do something about their crappy (removed) roads. And I guess those rims you have are probably very light weight, so that doesn't help any. I once slammed sideways into a curb at about 20 miles per hour having fun in a snowy parking lot. Thankfully my '79 Malibu had heavy duty rims and there was just a few scrapes, or I would have had some explaining to do to my Dad.

when i was about 17 and used to drink my (removed) off and then drive, i was trying to light a cigar (yuk) and nailed a curb going about 30 mph. blew the tire and put a 2" crease in the rim. damn that was dumb.

Well, I didn't bend my wheel myself. But someone bent my wheel by hitting my car back in January.Inder
