I have an 03 base Vibe with the alloy wheels. There is a logo embossed near the edge of the wheel that looks like it could be "JIL" or something similar.A couple of weeks ago, I parked next to a Grand Cherokee with chrome wheels. The Jeep's wheels were stamped with the same "JIL" logo.Comments?

Found the answer here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forum....html Basically, JIL is a standard, not a manufacturer.

Yeas ago, Pontiac used a company named "Western" as their wheel supplier.

I've also noticed that same mark you mentioned... Always wondered what it was there for.As far as where our wheels are produced, I noticed mine (16" alloys) have 'TOYOTA' stamped on the inside of the wheel. Also has 'Made In Canada' on there as well. So, although not completely sure, I'd say there's a good chance they come from Toyota's wheel plant in BC...http://www.toyota.com/about/op....html
