I hated those controllers. After a while the hard corners would really make your hands sore

Now that controller was a great interface... so many things today have so much crap you don't even need. Look at that thing... hardly any buttons but they did pretty much everything you needed!

well games have advanced quite a bit since then. back then you had like jump and punch, back and forward... all done with a few simple buttons. Now with some of these awsome games, the trick to winning is the right cordination with the proper button out of a dozen to execute the right action. It would be one heck of a large belt buckle with an X-Box or PS2 dual shock controller haha

LOL! Yeah we have the larger XBox controllers - that'd be quite the thing to wear on a belt.

I'm a PS2 owner myself but I think the controllers are proabably about the same size. Now the N64 controller that looked like a star trek battle cruiser would really be a hassel lol.

I think our Xbox controllers are bigger than the PS2 - there are two sizes of Xbox controllers. Now they come smaller and are about the same size as PS2.

I like simple controlers you can hold easy in your hands. Oh was watching Electronic Playground by EB Games this morning, they have a Cube/X-box/PS2 adaptable arcade controller, its the size of a large VCR with buttons and a joystick haha, imagine that on a belt... would be pulling your pants down for sure.

Yeah I have both X-BOX and PS2. When PS2 came out it was easy to play games because PS1 controller was the same so did not need any getting use to the controller. The X-BOX controller though was a different story. Took me a while to get to know the controls. The whole x,a,b,y kept trowing me off cause I was used to triangle, square, box, circle..... But now its all good.

It seemed that they never broke or wore out. I remember that the old Atari joysticks used to snap at the base of the stick and the plastic part that the spring for the button was attached to would break and the button wouldn't work anymore. Back then if you were a gamer, you had to know how to fix the joysticks, too!I remember how much more I liked the controllers for the Sega Genesis when it came out. It took me a while to get used to the extra button (it had A, B, and C buttons) and how they were configured in an arc pattern. I'll probably have arthritis in my thumbs by the time I'm 35 thanks to NHL '94!I've played XBox a few times and the controllers have me all screwed up. When I'd be playing Halo with some friends, I'd always get massacred because I screw up hitting the buttons. The PS controllers came to me more naturally. But I hate how some games force you to use the little joysticks on the controllers. I HATE those joysticks! I'm just too used to the D pad.
