Read this article and then let me know if it made you as mad as it made me. This stinks and I can't believe this woman is doing this. http://www.thepittsburghchanne...;bp=t

Just goes to show that when you think you have seen it all - someone takes stupid to a whole new level.

Okay, seriously, this lady is on crack. She wants custody of her child, which she prolly already has unlimited visiting rights to? What's up with that? I mean, I could see if the father never sent the child any money/clothes/or anyother way to take care of his child. But this guy has no choice to go and fight for his country. If he and other soldiers were not there, then this country would be in major crisis right now. If we had no means of defending ourselves I mean. If you want custody of the child, you can't wait a little longer to do it. Like when the guy comes back fighting? Just my $0.02Inder

Thank you. I find myself wondering if he was in another state, rather than across an ocean, if she would be pulling the same thing. I can understand not liking or whatever the person who was your spoouse and wanting to be away from them, but I can't imagine taking away parental rights when that person can't fight. This really upset me.

Shows ya how much some Americans really care both each other. Some Americans only care about the individual. Which is not right.Inder

There has to be something more to this story that what is being told in the article. I'm wondering if the wife was waiting for the opportune time to spring this.

Stuff like this happenes all the time. Not neccesarily the child issue but divorce and other things happen while soldiers are overseas. What usually happens to a soldier is he gets on orders to go overseas and he gets a general power of attorney (letting them do whatever legal documents they want) to let the spouce take care/sign anything that needs to be done. The spouce meets someone falls in "love". Soldier gets home he does not have a house, furniture, all that good stuff is gone she filled for divorce, included the property to go to her and since she has a general power of attorney she can sign on his behalf and its all legal. I seen cases like this while I served really screwed up people out there.
