so I decided to remove my roof rack today and I automatically noticed that the top spoiler would be a problem. I went through with it anyways and when the first rack almost slid all the way off...the spoiler stopped it. After reviewing it and seeing the rack wont come off because of the spoiler...i broke the plastic tracks on the rack and lifted the rack straight up and out of there. I had to do that on both of course. so my motto is, "if it wont come off...break it!"

haha but now your screwed should you ever want to put those back on. but your not the first to break those, others here have. personally I'm leaving mine on, may actually need them.

the will still go back on...i only broke the part of the track that hadnt come loose...so 3/4ths of it is still there. I will never put them back on though...it was hell takin them off!

What color is urs? Did you put your top spoiler back on?Inder

When I first got my top spoiler put on, I was able to take my roof rack cross bars off very easily. No forcing it or anything, they came all the way off

i took off my roof rack rails after i first got the vibe... now i kinda wish i had them on. but i can't now w/ the top spoiler there.

are u serious that you can't put your roof racks back on? I had mine off when I first put on my spoiler and last winter, I put the racks back on to bring snowboards up to Lake Tahoe and took them off in the Spring.

with the spoiler on the back? hmm.... i'll have to go check it out and take a look. when i looked at it before, it didn't appear to fit or have enough space to slide the racks back on.

yeah mine slides on with ease. Who installed the spoiler for you? That may be the difference.

i never took my spoiler off and its light silver (the car color), whatever the name is for that. i bought mine with the spoilers on it and the rack will in no way slide all the way off with a top spoiler.
