I don't know with 100% firmness, but my guess is they are just regular halogen bulbs with the blue tint over the lenses similar to the GE "cool blue" lights. Remember you are only paying $10 bucks for these things so don't expect anything great. If you want them, go for it. It is only ten bucks. I have bought a hell of a lot worse things for twice that amount. On the other hand if you are unsure on whether or not to buy them, maybe you should hold off until you are sure. They will probably always be on e-bay somewhere, so there is very little risk of you not seeing them again.

These bulbs do suck!! I had a set on my '99 GMC and I removed them and threw them in the garbage after 2 days. I had high beams and when they were on it was like driving through a blue fog. The stock high beams were far superior.

I had ebay headlights in my Vibe for about two months, before they died within a week of each other. One of them not only died, but it exploded, leaving chunks of glass, and a smoky film on the inside of my headlight housing.

I've had the EuroDezigns 9003 bulbs for two weeks w/ no problems. I posted a side-by-side of them vs. a Silverstar, and the ED's clearly won in brightness. Not "crap" IMHO

why would you buy headlights on ebay? aren't you paying full price for what you'd pay in a parts store once you pay shipping?

I have had them on my Vibe for quite a while now and I agree that they are crap. They seem duller now than the stock bulbs! They just have a very light pink(was supposed to be purple) tint to them. I would spend my $9 somewhere else or save for some real bulbs. It's up to you, it's only $9, but I say save it for something better.

If you really want to get some nice bulbs, I'd suggest Eurolite Bulbs, I got a pair for my headlights, fog lights, licence plate lights, and backup lights and they are kickin! They have that nice REAL Xenon white and not the Eurodezign look. My bro got a pair of Eurodezign bulbs, his casing looks multi-colored and the yellow lines on the road are green.

Problem with the cops with the light? How long it been since you installed?

EDIT: Have only had them for 10 months and ONE headlight did burn out about 2 months ago. Well, 8 months is better than the 6 I got out of my Silverstars. I have not disabled my DRL's, so YMMV.POLO, I've had them on my Vibe for a while now (10 months), and they are brighter than my old silverstars and have lasted longer. Not to mention EuroDezign's $6.99 (s&h) replacement warranty. I just used it for 1 Headlight and 1 fog and it took them only a week to turn them around - they also sent me a PAIR of each, not just 1. How can you beat $6.99 per pair? As long as you have a set installed and a new set ready to BE installed in case one burns out, you're cost is $6.99 per pair indefinitely. Maybe the purple ones sucked, but the 6000k and 8500k blues look and performed very well. Not too blue, mainly white with a hint of blue.Good service, and IMHO, good headlights!

why would a cop ticket you no worse then hid lights that come on high end cars. just because its factory installed doesnt make it any less blinding. the proper aim and adjustment should have mroe to do with it i would think

These aren't nearly as bright as true HID's, so they're not blinding. I wouldn't worry about cops with these lights unless you go with the other colors, like green, red, purple. Then again, they ARE D.O.T. approved, making them street legal...so what's the problem?I suggest you check out their website:
http://www.eurodezigns.com/Read up on their warranty and specs.

I wonder if the EuroDezign bulbs on ebay are a scam, because the bulbs my bro got had a Eurodezign case but they didn't look like the ones on EuroDezign's website. My bros has sort of a multicolored layer on them which turns the whole headlight casing orange and green and red and they are the bluest things I've ever seen. While the ones Psychobroker is talking about sort of sound like my Euros... BTW Psychobroker, can I have a pic of your lights while they are on, I want to compare a pic with my bros, I'll post one as soon as I get 1. And POLO, I;ve had them installed since December and they passed inspection in VA so I don't see whats wrong with em
