I was curious, has anyone done of sketched out what a Vibe would look like in woodie dress? After receiving some enlighting comments, I will no longer even wonder what a woodie kit would do to destroy a vibe. Thanks guysGUYS, PLEASE IGNOR THIS QUESTION; I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT AND THE ERROR OF SUCH A THING.

Either one. The Envoy would look a million times better if they got rid of that wood grain interior trim...and on the outside, I don't know, I just think it's tacky. JMHO.

JMHO.Wood grain anything on the inside is just poop! Very dated, 1970-ish and tries to imply class but looks like crap. Wood sucks! I am not a fan of outside wood and the Woody cars today are nothing of the wood cars years ago, made of REAL wood.

Try telling this to the proud owners of a Rolls Royce, Maybach, Jaguar. When woodgrain is done correct and with real wood and not plastic painted like wood, it look VERY rich and prestigeous. but like all on this board it is my opinion. As for that PT above, very classic looking, Not for me, but it looks sharp. I am for the most part not a fan of contact paper laid all over modern vehicles. A woodie should be made of real wood. Now if someone would doo that I would be a little more impressed.

The kits that people add, stickers or even worse the real wood screwed into the panel, look like crap. Conversion vans used to be guilty of this and take aVette for example, it looks too bad! Sporty cars do not need that, seen any Porsches with wood! I ahve not and not counting their SUV if it has it, I mena cars. I prefer sporty looks or normal looks in expensive vehicles. And yes I would tell a rich person their wood looks like poop! JMO...

I bet by the time I'm in my late 50's they will have carbon fiber interiors instead of wood.

Thanks, I am back from my punishment, for being bad. That is why I came here originally, seeking advice, before I bought. Kids. We don't have any. Or we didn't the first, 14 years of our marriage. By choice. We got our foster son back after a year. He was now 5'7' and 192 lbs. This was June 25th. And Then we decided to take guardianship of my niece from Colorado, who just turned 13, and is 5'8" and 200 lbs. And I had a much loved, but 11yo Saturn SW1 Wagon. Phillip's legs already hit the back seat of the passanger seat, with it pulled all the way forward, and he was just turning 15 in 5 days. So I rightfully consider the teenagers mods. Don't you think. We bought the car to add them to it. So mods! I was quite happy in the Saturn. Course the leather, XM, cruise control, power everything, etc. in the Vibe is nice too. Hehe. And the 200 watt stereo, moonroof, Clay Aiken blaring away, cruising down the highway. Oops, being bad again.

TRDVIBE...are you on crack?!?!?!?! That is the ugliest piece of $hit I have ever seen....if they ever made a Vibe into a woody I would go and shoot the person who decided to allow it to happen.Quote, originally posted by trdvibe »ok, found this woody pt. actually, it's not too bad. kinda cool

Woo, settle down! This was an opinion, no need to go blaring.I've found w/ PT's that you get owners that buy them for the "classic retro" look and modify/tune them accordingly (see the pics above) and some completely opposite (non-woodie).

Well, I guess they would put the wood panels above the grey plastic panels...and another panels to cover the rest of the car, change the shape a little and call it a Honda Element. HAHAHAHAHAHA
