I was struck by the fact that my 6-figure mileage just happened to separate itself into three distinct numbers today.

Here is a picture I took "hanging out" over Florida. Just a few miles out from Disney World. The bloke you see there is actually my dad, so you can see where I get it from.

November 3rd, 2013 - Southern Illinois

Weather was nice, had to get out and play.
Took a drive with my sweetie on a beautiful day.
Fall colors were pretty, bright was the sun.
Snapped a few pics to remember our fun.

Star,

Your snow pic reminds of Bob Ross and his paintings.
Here is a short video.

Yikes! I'm not looking forward to the white stuff. I cruised around today (November 5th) with the top down on the SC. It was 65 degrees and partly sunny. This weather won't hold out much longer though. Here's a pic of my house on Christmas Day, 2010. Kinda cool since we don't have a white Christmas more often than not.

Bob Ross, the King!

Here's more "mountain"... This pic was taken at a pass between two mountains, very windy as you can see by the thin layer of snow that in other places is about a foot deep...

Here's one from one my past shoots. This car belongs to a customer of the shop where I work. Super clean little 55 Chevy hardtop.

Can you share the tech specs on the rig and the lighting?

Not sure if this question was for my pic or not but here is my set up for that shot.

Canon EOS 6D EF16-35mm f/4L IS USM ƒ/7.1 1/80 100 iso I used two Phottix Mitros+ speed lights mounted on mono-pods each held by my two son's aimed down about 45 degrees at the car. One at the front firing towards the hood and down the side the other towards the rear firing towards the front down the side of the car. I use an Phottix Odin wireless transmitter to fire and control the speed lights in manual mode from the camera.

I actually didn't do a lot of post processing in Photoshop on that shot, noting more than minor color adjustments really.
Here a shot from my cell phone of what that shot looked like in camera.

from 3/7/2016,top of Murphy Dome, west of Fairbanks AK using a canon sx-100 @ iso 800, 8 sec exposure. Not a good low light camera, full res pic was really grainy. Phone camera was useless. Only effect was to resize to comply with millster's size limit. The long exposure time makes the lights seem much more vibrant than they really were. If you look closely, you can see the silhouette of my son on the right edge of the pic

Awesome shot you got there ;) I remember about 10 years ago or so we barely got a glimpse of these "northern lights" out over Lake Erie over Put-in-Bay. not much artificial light and it was late June where the summer solstice was happening. Nothing near as colorful as what you've captured here. Nice work 8-)
