$1.93 today! What really sucks though is my fuel economy has been horrible the last couple of tanks. Probably switching blends, or the colder temps, I dunno. But still it works out to $0.07/mi compared to $0.11-0.12/mi at higher FE with more expensive gas. w00t!I never thought it would dip down this low either. I just hope that people don't use it as an excuse to be wasteful again.

I predict that the cost of oil and therfore gas will drasticly increase within the first couple months of the new year.Buy Solar stocks and Gold stocks. I also would recomend stocking up (pun intended) on stocks of companies that have products that you can, eat, smoke, drink, or use to clean yourself.

$1.97 in Eastern Kentucky, but still like $2.24 in Western West Virginia - go figure.Funny about MPGs...mine have dipped slightly, but I'm still averaging 28 MPG overall with 5,400 miles on the car. For a car rated 21/29, I think that's pretty darn awesome.I just hope gas won't spike back up to $4 and over again, but who knows in this crazy economy...

hmm. i haven't filled up for about a week. i forget how much it was, but as i was passing a gas station on the way from work it said 2.09$US. pretty nice. when i started driving a few years ago it was above that price. xD i forgot what it was like to only have to pay ~20$US for a tank of gas. pretty nice. allows me to save a bit more each week, and spend it at the end of the month. xD

i'm really glad to see gas prices going down so fast...it has really screwed up everything when it started skyrocketing =/ lowest i've seen here was about $2.19 for regular.sad thing was when i first bought my 2002 maxima back in july of 2005 gas started going up up and up after hurricane katrina...and steadily went up over the years...finally right after i got rid of it and got the vibe gas started going down down and down lol never really had a chance to enjoy the power of the maxima without worrying about wasting gas =/

old thread bump, but reading the last few posts in this thread I realize I don't remember gas being that cheap two years agoWhere I live 87 is going for $3.059, but was up near Oceanport NJ this week and paid $2.959.I am so used to pumping my own that the "no self-service in NJ" seems unnatural.

$1.169/L or $4.42/gal for 87 (exchange is 4c on the dollar so do your own math... it's still pricey)Quote, originally posted by joatmon »I am so used to pumping my own that the "no self-service in NJ" seems unnatural.Reminds me of filling up in Oregon... fortunatly if you fill up in Vancouver, WA you can drive all the way through Oregon without stoping!!! I just came back from filling up my Vibe at our favorite Citgo station. It was $3.13 a gallon, but the catch is their lowest grade is 89 octane which 99% of the time is mid-grade everywhere else, so it's actually a pretty darn good deal. I had just over a quarter of a tank left and the pump stopped at 7.981 gallons for a grand total of $25.05.On a bit of a side note, God do I miss warm weather gas mileage. I am averaging a good 3-4 decrease .

In Columbus, OH the pump prices now are between 2.99 and 3.15. I am partial to Shell - filled up the Vibe yesterday downtown @ 3.089 and the T&C today a couple miles from home at $3.079. As we do not drive much (retired/work out of home office) I don't spend a lot of time trying to save the last 5 cents per gallon. My Shell MC used to give 5% rebate - now it is still 5% but you don't get that until you purchase $500 in the prior 12 months. Earnings over 12 months go away if you have not met that threshold. It is a struggle to be sure I spend $500 a year at Shell as they don't have a lot of stations here anymore. When my Giant Eagle grocery store gas rewards get to $1 a gallon discount I have to take advantage of that.

$3.19 in my area. It has stuck there for a while. I'm coasting on gas cards from Christmas, but I'll have to really be a light driver to make it as far as I possibly can.

The lovely state of NY and their taxes have driven the price close to $3.50 a gallon for 87 in some places here in Plattsburgh, the further north you go from Albany, the worse it gets usually. The station I fill up at just around the corner from the house is $3.32 right now. I love how the experts say they expect the national average to hit $3.75 by Memorial Day, we blow the national average out of the water in northern NY, so we can expect $4.00 plus by then. JR

Suburban Chicago- somewhere between $3.15-$3.25 last I checked, but it could be lower or higher (been over a week since I bought gas, since I was away on a trip in a much larger rental car)But in the city add $.30 to that...
