I just paid $2.96 yesterday, but then found out a few other Houston independant stations are down to $2.87 or 2.88 today. They said they are basically selling it for cost plus a few cents for credit card fees.Gosh I miss those $0.99 a gallon days......

Enjoy the low prices while you can people, cause OPEC is meeting on Nov.18th to cut oil production so their prices don't keep falling. That means the price we pay for gas will be going back up in the near future.

The entire world economy is hurting and if OPEC thinks it is a smart move to cripple the entire world market even more, then so be it. It will be only hurting their wallets too and can lead to war if pushed far enough.

There is another huge factor in why oil is costing less. that is the value of the dollar in the world arena has actually increased. Not so much that our dollar is better here but I think more so as the other world economies are going down has caused our dollar value to go up.Its all realtive to who your trading the dollar against. But rest assured the cost of oil will rise again. Its just like gold everyone wants some and it will never be worth zero.

I paid $1.939 for 87 octane regular on Oct. 28th in Brownsburg, Indiana at SR 267 and I-74.Today it's down to $1.829 or maybe lower. They're having an old-fashioned price war among 4 stations: BP, Speedway, Kocolene, and Casey's. They've made the TV news the past several days.Even though it's 15 miles from my home, I can save ~ $.35 a gallon by driving there for a fillup, so at those prices, I save about double the cost of the gallon I burn to get there and back home!

Paid $2.15 yesterday. First time in a long time I've paid less than $20 at one fill (usually fill up between half and 1/4).

Today I got gas for 0.90.... before you get to wound up about that it is still only 3.40/Gal Never the less the lowest I have seen in this area in a long time... can't get over the fact that gas is at least $1/Gal higher here... Canadians love to tax everything to death. At least the price is falling Yeah!!Just did some quick reading on Canadian gas tax. There are 3 different taxes that come to a total of 31 cents from every dollar spent on gas. The highest Provence is 40.5 Yikes.... I will step off the soap box now... nobody likes a whiner
