Great shot Tim! Love that color !

Looked out my window a couple weeks back and happened to notice a Vibe in my neighbor's driveway, so I took this "spy photo" of it !

A Matrix was visiting the neighbors.

These first three pictures were taken in Pontiac, IL during the weekend of the GenVibe meet back in June...






This one was taken outside Aldi on June 28th.

Forgot I had this one. My mom and I came out and they had parked next to us !



Also, a story of Vibe love from a little later the same day...

So, my mom and I were putting groceries in my Vibe outside Walmart when a lady who appeared to be in her 50s or so pulled up and started asking how we liked our Vibe. She was driving a black 95-99 Sunfire SE Coupe, but her other vehicle is an 09 Navy Blue Metallic Vibe GT! She asked how many miles mine had and I said just under 60,000. She said hers is around 65,000. She bought it used, it's garage kept and she doesn't drive it in the winter. She even noticed the missing badges on the hatch and asked me about them. I was going to tell her about GV, but a car pulled up behind her so she had to leave. It was so cool having someone totally unexpected like that ask me about my Vibe. Made my day !

Hmmmmm.... you could have turned this into "Vibe kidnapping" and somehow arrange her to sell the vibe to your Dad After all you've hinted many times that the navy blue 2009 Vibe Gt is just what he needs. Hunt her down and convince her to sell it to your dad!

Something tells me she would be pretty hard to convince since she obviously loves her Vibe! Just like if someone tried to persuade me to sell mine... NOT GONNA HAPPEN!

Ok maybe not so random, but there is now Vibe love in our garage. My wife is now the proud owner of an '09 Steel Blue Metallic 2.4l base model with Moon & Tunes and the 17" alloys, so we're officially a two Vibe family. Good riddance to the POS Grand Caravan!

Thanks! Nearly perfect for her, although she wishes it were the Mystic instead. I must admit I'm a little jealous of the color and audio package, but not so much on the wheels. They look cool but it needs tires soon and I wasn't too pleased to find tires 50% pricier while lasting half as long.

It's been ages since I saw another Vibe over here ... so today I saw another just like mine. On a typical German cold, wet winter day.

It's not Vibe related but when I had a dark grey 03 Ford Taurus wagon, I went to get in at a Flea Market and the key wouldn't turn the door lock! I was like what the heck? I looked it over and saw a neighboring state's window inspection sticker... it wasn't my car. It was an identical one that parked next to mine after I got there.

Vibe related, a bright red one (older gen like mine I think, based on the rear) pulled out ahead of me the other day.I was right behind it for a while but some jerk just HAD to get 2 seconds ahead and cut in between us. The jerk turned off 1/2 a mile later. Oh yeah, they got there soooooooo much faster. Idiots. I can't remember if the Vibe went to the same shopping center as me or turned off before. Oh well.

Hi there Geoff. What are the odds of finding and identical vibe to yours CLEAR on the other side of the world !!!!! Nice find and snapshot. So just how many months/years before you return to the states? Keep in touch with us and glad the Vibe is still chugging along

I rarely go to Wal-Mart, but Target didn't have what I was looking for, so I pulled into the Wal-Mart next door. As I was driving through the parking lot, I spotted a base solid Neptune Vibe, with a vacant place next to it, so I parked there. Perfect Vibe love picture opportunity I thought!




And ten minutes later, as I was walking to the cars, I noticed a car had parked on the other side of me. As I looked closer, the new car looks like it has a roof rack. No, it couldn't be.... another Vibe? Actually, yes, and it was a base Neptune two tone! So what happend while I left my GT alone in the parking lot with another Neptune Vibe?!?!?!

That's cool! Menage a trois.

Well, I admit I was kinda peeved to see another just like mine here at my home post (I saw another at a different post, right after I got here 4.5 years ago), but we all know how many like ours are around!
Actually, I have seen that car twice again, in that same parking lot, and today I parked right beside it for a few minutes. I'm going to print out a GenVibe "calling card" and leave it stuck in the window seal, next time I see it.
Anyway, I'll be back in the States next July, but my Vibe probably won't be back until September. Maybe I can make a Meet in 2017!

Quick trip to 7-11. Good thing my vibe took a bath so it didn't embarrass itself.

Not exactly Vibe love, but I spotted this 2005-2008 with the GM ground effects and double spoilers in downtown Sandwich last weekend!

Ok ... I can finally contribute to this post. These two Vibes are not mine and I have no idea who they belong to BUT they were getting Vibe love and didn't even know it. A first gen Silver and a very rare 2009 2.4l base with the 17" alloys in Mystic Blue metallic!

At the swanky fruit market by the house, I walked passed this near twin of my Vibe so of course I took a quick pic to document the encounter.

While we were eating dinner I had a vibe magically appeared.





Apparently I was unaware of the vibe meeting that was scheduled. Including a matrix cousin.

Here's a pic of my new to me 09 Mystic Blue with my wife's 05 in the background. We were picking up her 05 at my mechanic's, the oem starter was just replaced at 150k. Edited to add those are new RT43 205 60 16's on "Mystique" with 12 spoke wheel covers that I found at Pep Boys:

For future reference, if you are using Windows, just open it in the stock preview program and use the rotate option.

Here are some photos of my 2008 Vibe Moonstone color with 96,000 miles with moon and tunes package, as well as the Vibe at my job which has 615,000 miles on it and it still drive strong. Of course the odometer only goes to 299,999 but we had one of our mechanic friends hook a tool up to the OBD II port to check the real mileage.
