yeah the x360 has dvdrom problems too. My friend is on his 5th now, as his 4th has nasty dvdrom reading issues and is LOUD AS heck. honestly this hardware issue is freaking ridiculous, i cant believe people can put up with this. MS is giving free old games with repair now, but its like viva pinata and pgr3. we should do some halo 3 coop or something...so far im not to impressed with the game...... i need to change the controller for sure.. the B as melee sucks

Well again some people get bad ones and some people get good ones... i feel for the guys that go through it a lot. like damnronjr and tripplett (norths buddy).I love the system and games its my style.North quit whinning and get on XBL already. : PMe and waveaction with some other friends played some team battles and we were doin really good. its so much better then randomness.

yeah i need to play with friends so they freaking TALK! there was no teamwork with randoms it was super lame.

yeah and COD4 is bad with friends... the coop sucks with random 12 yr olds... : (It ended last night so im sad now... : ( : (im getting that game nov. 6 fo shizzle.

cod coop?wait your getting cod4? I thought it was meh...maybe i was just sick of the 3 maps but some things just drove me up the wall.

i meant like team of friends... cuz random people either arent great and dont help or others think there COD gods... and take off like a banshee.halo maps are good, just only some you can play in certain types of matchmaking. but its still fun.

I played halo 1 and 2 and yeah multi was a good time with tons of friends lan partying and I LOVE coop, so its okay but the hype of it being the best game ever....come on.Mrizzle how late did you end up playing saturday night? im gettin COD4 when it comes out aswell..played the beta at a friends house and it's amazing and alot of fun

oh dont hate the game cause you suck..hate yourself lol..i kid...but seriously..at first i couldnt get used to it..but after it's fun and easy to get used too..it's like a better updated version of counter-strike

oh i played a lot...got fairly good but some things just (removed) the hell out of you after a long time playing online. like the last stand crap, lots of times your bullets wouldnt kill the person, laggy as hell servers (id think that would be fixed in final) and no hugging walls... this is the first game in my life..where i got so frusterated i almost threw my controller...and thats saying a lot since i only play online these days....

i've had a few moments like that when i was a socom guy..i find sometimes even halo 3 does that..shoot someone continuously and they dont die for some reason..it's ridiculous but what can you do

play socom or rainbow 6 It was never that bad for me on socom..eh whatever... yeah halo 3 the other night...i was like...NO WAY a lot..hahha stupid games

lol ya..it's only the online portion of the game..socom i can do the whole game with just a sniper and take out every guy with a headshot..online..man you shoulda seen me, and those stupid pmn were the worst...halo 3 i've only experianced it twice..and i hate oddball..i couldnt figure out what to do with the stupid thing lol

anyone play sega rally revo? at first its hard, but once you learn you never use the brake and to just let off the accel, turn and get back on the gas for those slide turns, its a wicked game. I think im going to pick this sucker up.

I wouldn't know what any of the games are like right now... I got my box to send my 360 back to M.S. so they can send me another broken one....

I'll let you know if they do, I'll probably get my "new" one next week... i hope i get the one with the 65 nanometer Falcon motherboard... those seem to be the good ones, they are the newest ones, and don't have near the same issues with the over heating...If I get a free game I'm sure it's one I already have... and I'm sure it will have some sticker on it so I can't sell it or trade it in.

actually even the new ones are getting the RROD..... so um...hopefully you get lucky that yours just doesnt overheat.. when you called tech support they should of asked you which game..idk my friend is on his 5th so they asked him twice which game he wants....

NFS:pro street and GH3 demo on live now!!!

i'll make a seperate thread for 360 gamer tags and a time card...kinda like..when you'll be on and stuff so we can plan ahead to all play together** thanks for the update..i never knew prostreet and GH3 was out for demo, downloading now as i type and also you have me as a friend on Live already...RedFire2K

playing the GH3 demo, it's pretty good, only 5 songs which sucks, i love "lay down by priestess" such a good song

prostreet is multi? didnt know that... its fun...id like to try their take at drifting but so far...it actually feels like a good racer

awesome..playing GH3 first then i'll hit up pro street and give my opinion..and i thought it was multi, only cause i saw that u were in a multi room or something like that..some event but i could have sworn it sent multi..of some sort..i'll shut up **few things i like about the new GH3, 1 better graphics and a lil more realistic, the people actually look like people and not dragonball Z type stuff, 2 new online modes, like guitarbattle and co-op and some other ones, and 3, great songs so far, cant wait to see the full list of the game

i didnt see multi....but maybe you should smoke more of what you were smoking and try it again

alright so after playing prostreet, im not all that impressed, i guess cause it's more realistic then any of the other NFS's, great graphics though, and somewhat hard to upshift/downshift with the clutch button cause it's hard to get used to, but overall i give it a 7.5 out of 10

Also, from observations made of the demo, it doesn't appear to be as much about modding as the past games were, and that was probably my favorite feature. I hope it's going to be as good as the past NFS games, we'll just have to wait and see I guess.

you dont need the clutch in the demo, i think thats only for drifting cuz the cluth did nothign for me. as for modding, you can or should be able to mod the heck out of your car in this new one. I like the old NFS games, the underground/stree racing ones to me were meh, never got to into them. the NFS3, nfs hot pursuit were amazing! love'd em!

Best one ever was NFS Most wanted... the gameplay and controls were perfect. the unrealism of that one kept you interested. i may rent this one just in case. but if its MEH then ill prolly just grab NFS:MW for like 20 bucks.

NFSMW is too damn hard! I've had it since before I got my 360, and it is ridiculously hard! I started playing it way back when and barely got through Earl (#8 I think?). I couldn't freaking get past the Bounty and stuff to get to the next chick! Finally I started a new game and have gotten a few people further, but this next one looks to be a doozy with the requirements! It's a PITA to get enough bounty, and when your heat gets high enough to actually get a decent bounty your being chased non-stop by 100 cars, trucks, and choppers, and then you can rarely get away for it to even count! The 1 thing I hate the most is when you hit a cop-stopper and it goes to the slow-mo screen, then it goes back to normal and says you ran through a spike-strip while in uncontrolled slo-mo! Then you have 4 flats and are forced to get pulled over! That REALLY pisses me off! But I'm stil playing it, so go get it guys, so we can play online! lol

Dude. I had NFSMW beat in like 2 weeks.... Try Forza 2, that game is awesome, and you can pretty much make it as hard as you want to!Edit: and I know what you're talking about with the bounty... On one of the last ones you basically have play keep away from the cops for 45-50 minutes to get enough for the bounty... I don't have the game anymore so I can't remember how much you had to get but I know it was A LOT!

i dont like track racing games.. too boring for me.NFS:MW was awesome... yeah its hard to get the bounty and stuff, but the "hardcore gamer" i am i beat it. joke.I had a 13+ minute chase with nothing but white vettes and rhinos... man i was like awesome, till i hit a spike before i could get away.HOPING prostreet will be better then carbon and as good as MW

ya when i played the demo for prostreet, i played it as a king..which is full clutch and everything..even shifting down..which is kinda hard, to control the car, shift down, plus clutch, and brake..lol..a lil to much to do at once, but from what i read you can customize the cars, the demo is just the done up cars...i've also payed off both COD4 and GH3, so just gotta wait til they come in...GH3 is sunday and COD4 is Nov 6th, cant wait for either

Hey, MS confirmed 5 hours.I figure when this one breaks (cause you know it will) I will return it, and get a brand new elite.... and start my 3 year warranty all over again....

i dont know why you guys have such problems with it..i've had mine for about 3-4 months now and have yet to have any issues with it, you guys just got bad luckas for elite, once i get a better tv i'll be picking that up to accomidate the HDMI and full 1080p
