The last two movies I have seen recently in theaters was Cloverfield and I just went with my fiance to see Fool's Gold on Sunday. I must say both are thumbs up. The FG movie was not so much a romantic comedy, as much as a comedy. Kate Hudson is hot as always and looks good in a bikini. And Matty Mack has always been a good actor in my eyes. (read good actor, not good looking, my arm doesn't swing that way, lol). But the movie was pretty funny right from the beginning I laughed pretty hard. Go see it if you get the chance.

I bought the American Gangster DVD before it came in thaters. It's a good movie, more a documentary almost than action. But not the droning kind. It tells a good story that is interesting to watch, but the previews make it seem like its action packed and it's def. not.

Saw WANTED on Saturday. Good special effects. Lots of action. Not much of a storyline. Lots of holes, too. Especially in the heads of 90 percent of the dead characters...lol. Wait for it on DVD or a cheap theater or cable.

I got around to watching Cloverfield and I am Legend this week. I really enjoyed Will Smith's performance in I am Legend. I was however very disapointed in the special effects for the mutated humans. I bought into everything in the movie but them. They looked SOOOO fake.Cloverfield was also a great movie but it made me very motion sick that I had to lie down afterwards. I've never gotten motion sick from a movie before.

My Cousin Vinnie is hilarious. The Matrix always gets me going.I am Legend actually scared me a few times with a pretty good plot.Hancock was very good, and I think a lot of people should see it.

Saw Indiana Jones 4 a couple of weeks ago. Probably the corniest one yet with all the special effects.Saw Evan Almighty this weekend. (Father in-law buys DVD's instead of rents them and he makes copies off of his DVR so they have a huge library). "Thou shalt do the dance!"

Indana 4 was good until Shea started swinging through the jungle. Leave it to Lucas.... Other than that it was pretty good for a popcorn flick.

Oh, I get it, the monkeys are showing him the way.*bashes head on desktop*

I haven't been able to watch any of his movies since. IMHO, the best role I've seen him in was the federal wildlife marshall in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back. BTW, speaking of Kevin Smith, I'll agree that Zack and Miri was fricken brilliant... I laughed so much it hurt. That's the last movie we went out to see.
