Just a thought, but where are all the out-of-towners staying after the meet? Anyone have reservations yet or a link to the hotel you are staying or want to stay? Any info would be great or suggestions on where to stay. Would be cool to get everyone we can to stay at the same place. Two words come to mind... HOTEL and PARTY?

kostby (The Ostby family) checking in:Kirk & Dottie & son Eric, age 13Sorry, we're in the 'too old /too young to party' group! We booked a room at the Best Western, 3255 Owen Road, Fenton MI, for Sat. night at the AARP rate. (I told you we were too old to party!)We're taking a driving vacation into Ontario & upper NY state beginning the next day.BTW: I don't know how much you want to advertise the event to NON-genvibers, but you can post a free ad in Indiana/Illinois/Ohio/Michigan Auto & RV (a new and used vehicle paper published weekly) which has a combined circulation of about 500,000 copies. The website is

jmiller@flintjournal.com with subject "wheels calendar".i'm pretty new here, so whoever wants to take the reins on this, here's an idea of what they are looking for:June 26: Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix owners show/meet, noon-4 pm , Joseph Pontiac, Silver Pkwy, Fenton. Free, all are welcome. Details at

Hey everyone, I would love to come up to this meet! I'm going to go on some kind of road trip this summer. Originally I was planning on a cross country, 3-4 week trip, but that would cost a lot. Now, I'm thinking about maybe taking a week or two up to my grandparents cottage in WI and maybe I could time it around the time of the meet. It would great to meet so many of you in person. I'll have to see how things plan out.Later,

Hi everyone. I'm new to Genvibe and plan to attend the meet. I've owned my Vibe (base, auto) just over a month and am still torn between the demon on my shoulder telling me to modify this car and the angel saying "it's your everyday car, leave well enough alone". Anyway, I'll probably have chassis mods in place by the time of the meet and I am looking at building a turbo system over the winter (there's that demon!). I look forward to meeting everyone.46

Something unexpected has come up and I may not even be in the US then, I should find out soon, but if I am called out I'll be missing the meet and I doubt I'll be able to post but maybe once or twice a month I'm hoping I'll still be able to make it, but who knows?
