Count me in for sure... I'll show up with a Vibe or two, just like the other meets. Have to work on some kind of caravan from southern Ohio (and surrounding areas) to drive up. That worked out well last time. Looks as though this meet is going to be BIG!

My current plans are to come over to Ohio then go up (most direct route for me).If that's the case, you guys can pick me up with Nick around Austintown!

well, i'm waiting to get the ok from work, but I don't think it'll be a prob. i think if vibechick comes too, we'll try and get our flights close so it's easier for people to shuttle us. some suggestions on nice hotels near the meet? not 5 star but decent.

We should be able to turn a few heads if we get a big convoy through Ont along the 401 heh. And yeah I like the everyone at the same hotel/s idea.Already got the weekend booked off, should maybe take a few extra days maybe.

The best hotel in the flint area would be the Holiday Inn Gateway Centre....there's also another Holiday Inn on the east side of town by the University but it's not that nice.

Someone should pick her up don't ya think? I'd say sure but at that time I'll still probably be still traveling to get there. Hopefully someone in the canada convoy will know where they are going lol, I won't.

Well if all else fails, I know the way to Fenton at least :->Been to the Flint area a few times, so know how to get there..... but I'm sure we'll have a bunch of great travellers for this one! Here's a thought for the group of us travelling down the 401/402 -- how many of us have FRS radios? (I do) Might be a great way to stay in contact for the highway portion of the trip! Oh - and we'll have to figure out a stopping / meeting point on the US side of the border, 'cuz I can pretty much guarantee it's going to take a while to get us all across.....

could someone in the Flint area please get in touch with the Holiday Inn there and see if booking a block of rooms could be worked out. I know that it really early yet, but if we do it now, then we will maybe get a bunch togetherthanks

Arcs: If you are driving more than 423.83 mi then you can beat me That's the distance from Madison to Fenton ... did it last year, look forward to doing it again!BTW: You ever get your under-dash lights installed? :D

Who's got underdashg neons? It would be sweet to carry the meet out through the night because teh only thing I have to show off is my underbody kit can't see that during the day.

I am excited for the meet- But as far as location goes are we planing on having it at The dealership in Fenton again, or at a park?I think a good park to go to would be Island lake Park which is part of Kensington - It is right off of 96 East of Brighton- Just a suggestion

Sure...I was wondering if I could get the people that are planning on going and need a room to PM me for my e-mail and then we can see what types of room to look at. Also, what location would people be at? I figured Flint because there's some stuff to do around, like golfing or such. Maybe we could have a golf outing too...anyone?

Since so many people are driving so far and there are several opinions on what to do, why not make it a 2 day event? We could do the dealership thing one day, then anyone that's interested could meet up at a park the next day. Just a thougt.

I think that a 2-day event would be a good idea as well, but I also have to head home on Sunday (cause I have to be back at work on Monday). Drive up early Saturday morning... spend the day at the meet... get in some "hotel party" time in the evening and then head on home Sunday. Last year I drove up and then back home the same day I won't make that mistake again.
