Is the gas hood damper kit 100% compatible out of the box or did you have to mod it in some way? The reason I ask is because I know the matrix is pretty much the same but I wasnt sure about the hood. I just ordered it for my car so I just want to make sure!

After several attempts at getting them right... first white (forget your Exact Match system DupliColor,) then metallic black, now semi flat black (their original primered look actually,) the eye lids I bought from Blue Crush are finally installed.

Thanks! No they're not. Their Exact Match paint system has failed me twice now. After getting an idea from that experiment (white,) I thought on this car the eyelids looked better in black anyway... more sinister looking.I will update the sig but not w/this pic. It was a quickie.

I would LOVE to!! I wouldn't be here (in Texas) w/o it in my own car, but my wife doesn't want it. I even suggested a light, 50% tint. "NO!!"

Thanks. She does limit what I can do to it.She wouldn't let me put the front plate in the windshield. She had a fit when I put on a 6" shorty antenna... but that's back now. She was sad when I changed the horns for louder ones because she liked the meep-meep sound.I'm actually waiting for a reaction to these eye lids. She doesn't even realize yet that they are on there. I have to be sneaky sometimes....Installing the cruise control is probably the next on my list. I just bought the switch and cover from the Grizz.Since the 16" tires are fairly new and should last a while, wheels are probably not going to happen for a while either... not that I haven't been shopping anyway. I wanna jump up to a 17's, no bigger for her purposes though.

Short of a bath, an inspection, oil change and tire rotation a few months back, no not really. Just too much going on personally... then there's the weather. MY RIGHT ARM FOR A GARAGE!! (I'm a lefty. )The Grandson spent the entire month of July w/us last year but it was just too blamed hot and dry to do much of anything. Then a quick trip to Florida to visit my sister for the last time. Then a trip to Pa for her memorial service, all in less than a month. The holidays. H-E-B asking us for more and more all the time, while giving less. I'm burnin' out!!The Conti's (DWS) are still GREAT all around tires and are holding up well. I still recommend them highly as a great tire that won't cost you an arm and leg.I still have the cruise control switch I bought from Grizz a while back in the shop to install too. Frankly the wife doesn't want it or care about it, but I do for when I drive the car... and I'm a little bit intimidated about disconnecting the air bag??I would like to get some red pinstriping to see how that works out on the grille surrounds.
