the only reason it stays like that is because it has such bad paint anyways (chips all over the hood and scuffs on the rocker panels) that the mud hides it and lets face it, who doesnt like to have mud all over their station wagon occasionally

no joke mine is too, buuuuuut, autozone gave me the wrong paint when i told them to look it up so i have slightly darker circles all over the front edge of my hood. i ordered some factory stuff from gm though, it should be here soon, that wont be quite as bad

andrewdude, how do you keep it so clean? was it easy to remove/paint the engine cover?looks badass. nice job!!!

I found the engine cover really easy to paint. I originally had it red, but when I went to repaint it, one of the plastic clips broke off in the valve cover. I have replacements, but I haven't done anything about it yet and it has been about a year. Oh well, you don't really need them anyway. As to keeping it clean, you should see it now. It is filthy and has steel wheels on. It looks like crap. And yesterday, my mom hit it when she was backing out of the driveway!! As of now, she has hit every vehicle I or any one else has had parked in the driveway. Now my driverside front fender and wheel arch is scratched. Luckilly, nothing was dented, but it will take a lot of rubbing compound and wax to get it to look ok.

thanks!well, i was gonna go for a nice bodykit, but right now i don't have the budget for it... but i am saving up for that.. i think im gonna get black overlays for the pontiac arrows and lettering to start with. that'll be the cheapest part. I also want to get new wheels, and do some serious enhancement to the audio system... the default cd player and speakers are kinda mediocre right noww..so those are some of my thoughts.. any ideas?

Those are good. Unfortunatley, there are only two options for bodykits, the street graffiti ang GM kit. The GM kit is no longer made, however I was lucky enough to snag one off ebay, which I will install this spring.

still love the look of your vibe --- couple questions...the pics on page 1/3 --- is that with the redouts applied. just asking b/c they still look orange, but maybe its the pic. did you have your uni/exhaust before the dc header or did you install it first? gains?
Re: (bull77)

All pics of my car are without the redouts. I have not yet posted a pic with them on. They look awesome though. Me and my friend spent about an hour on each one to make sure they were perfect. I installed my header after the exhaust, but before the unichip. As for gains, there was not much really. I noticed a slight difference but nothing really to write home about. Everything put together has net me a decent gain that I can feel, but it definitely takes all of the mods to get there.

They are a bit of a pain to install properly. I had to trim mine to get them perfect as well. I will try to get a couple pics up for you soon.

First off, I want to say you have my favourite Vibe on the site Secondly, how hard was the kit to install, and I don't know how much snow you get there in the winter, but is it an issue?
