you will as soon as the snow melts and i can get to the track. then you'll see some real world numbers. besides, since i do have an auto, they don't do so well on the dyno due to the TC making the dyno do crazy things. my friend with his wagon pulled a 290 net hp on his g-tech in 3rd gear. problem is that i can't get a good read on mine to make any sense of it. i just get errors. on Mav's vibe, it works fine... so it must be something w/ the autos i guess. either way, once the snow melts, i can do some datalogging, get my tune a little more perfected and then hit the track. my goal is to hit 12's. once i've done that, i'll be happy (for now) and will concentrate on real racing: solo II.

heh... "happy for now" hehforget daily driving that car if you want faster then 12s... its life expectancy will be shortened it is to bad we don't have a dyno here. If someone had one, it would get a lot of business.

no, there are high 12's, mid 12's and low 12's... once i break into 11's i'd have to get a roll cage, so no thanks.

With all the s00bies running around, one would think some entrepreneur gearhead would have ponied up the cash for one by now.

because for an awd dyno, you're talking about $100K+ for a decent one. plus, then you need to find a good tuner too. there are a ton of subies up here as well as evo's and GSM guys, but when push comes to shove, it seems they don't want to $$$ to do real dyno testing/tuning. there is a dyno at the career center, but it's not open to the public. another guy has one, but he uses it for his own car, not interested in letting anyone else use it and wants some ungodly ammt just to keep people away (if that's not bad business practice i don't know... however, i've heard nightmare stories about his shop anyways). the one person with the means to bring one up here decided to buy an airplane instead. oh well.

Maybe in a few years an awd dyno can be another division of Hope Enterprises, LLC
