Great find, Sputnik! I knew you could resize back in the day but it was only in percentages. The current resize option is perfect, puts it at 640x480! BTW folks, here's mine for the day... This pic of the "little" birdie was taken on the top of the Empire State Building.

Well, it's been a while but here's another from me. I've been working on infrared photography for a while. I thought it would be easy, but given the way a digital camera is built it's anything but! Anyway, here's the best I have SO far. As far as a photo, it's horrible! As a proof of concept for infrared photography with my camera, it's a step in the right direction.IR_Beta_1:

Thanks! Hopefully within the next couple of weeks, I'll have the technique down to the point I can post something that's actually appealing in appearance. This is just about as rough and raw as they come but I had to share.

i haven't played this game in a while...here's another one from my photography class in college...When Boston rebuilt their highways underground (known as the CA/T (central artery/tunnel) project or Big Dig) , this was one of the vent buildings they constructed to aid in tunnel ventilation.

"Blizzard Vibe". We got about 12" of fresh snow in my county with drifts up to 48". Schools are closed for the 3rd day Thursday. My wife (a teacher) and son (high school student) are thrilled!

Ahh, one more. I'm finally getting the hang of shooting infrared with this camera. It's a pain and takes a lot of patience but the results can be worth it. Mainly, I need to work on my post processing now. Cleaning up image noise and inserting false color if I want. Anyway, here's the latest IR beta. The blurry areas are actually caused by the wind moving the trees during the 8 seconds of exposure.IR_Beta_2:

Part luck, part reaction time, mostly itchy shutter finger. This was taken on a trip to our local zoo on Saturday. My friend pointed and said "hmmm... bird of prey". By luck, I had my camera on and ready for the shot. The sky in the photo is as it really was. No retouching. On a Wing:

I took this picture when I sailed past the Chesapeake Bay Bridge near Annapolis, MD last Octover. It was a perfect day for sailing and we cruised at hull speed (maximum) just about the entire trip.
