so far the second season is far better than the first (isn't that how it always is?)scherry what do you mean "what side will she choose?" do you mean between the heroes and her dad?

Stan cameoed in the X-Men, Hulk, and Daredevil movies too.As for DVD of the first half of the season, I think the episode where Claire stuck her hand in the garberator will be edited as the manufacturer filed for an injuction stating misrepresentation of use of their product.Quote, originally posted by scherry2 »yea that was cool. he has walk on parts in all the marvel spiderman movies too. This show fails to disappoint. I wonder if this episode was why Future Hiro had Peter save Claire. "Save the cheerleader, save the world"It's great how the more questions that are answered, the more mysteries appear.Quote, originally posted by ANO_Vibe »BUMP! oh I can't wait for this one!

yeah the whole "save the cheerleader" hype probably didn't just involve that one incident...They keep emphasizing the next "2" episodes so I doubt we'll find out Bennett's secret until next weeks

It's actually kinda nice they concentrated this week's episode on just the Bennett story arc. Can't wait till next week's episode to see if they'll reveal more.Quote, originally posted by ANO_Vibe »yeah the whole "save the cheerleader" hype probably didn't just involve that one incident...They keep emphasizing the next "2" episodes so I doubt we'll find out Bennett's secret until next weeks

another great episode So is Partman going to be Bennett's new partner or was "his boss" refering to the girl in the room with them having telepathy, too? This is something that has confused me since several episodes ago... I thought someone (can't remember who possibly Mohinder) said everyone's powers manifested recently as in a few months ago but obviously many people have had their powers for years if not decades. I probly just heard something wrong...

Did you notice how that girl was checking Bennett out?As for power manefestation, maybe Mohinder was noticing how a large number was occuring recently. Now I wonder how the Nakamura's are involved in all of this.

this still doesn't explain the hatian's supposed power-nagating ability... if he had that kind of power then he could've stopped Ted... so WHO is it that can negate powers!?

yeah the memory-wipe thing is the hatian's ability but alot of people thought he also had the ability to negate peoples powers... Partman's telepathy wouldn't work around him and there are other examples throughout the series. Some even thought this was actually Bennett stopping the powers but that was disproved along time ago when Nathan escaped from them by flying away. If neither the Hatian nor Bennett has this power then WHO!?

Quote, originally posted by scherry2 »I thought the Hatians ability was to make people forget. and with him shooting Bennet then placing his hand on Bennets head, it seems maybe Bennet is going underground.I don't think Bennet's going underground. He and the Hatian made it look like Claire was taken before Mr. Bennet could deliver her. Wiping his memory is just to ensure that the others won't kill him because he has become a liability, or to erase the memory of the kidnapping plot because he can't give up what he doesn't remember. And I think the Hatians ability has to do with the mind and the brain, what Parkman can do involves that, and so does the memory wipe of course. I think he can just make a "black hole" in people's thoughts and memories .

maybe it's all coincidence but the way things happen it "looks" like someone can stop abilities but I don't really think that's true anymore...

redlava has it correct.he was able to mess with parkman as his power involves telepathy.in any case, the haitian is now a hunted man also. bennett told his boss that the haitian was hiding claire all that time....(remember as they were walking down the hall?).So i'm guessing, the plan was to have it appear as though the haitian shot bennett to take claire and then wiped bennett's memory so that the 'paper factory' doesn't know where the haitian took claire.PS: this is NOT a confusing plot...that pain you feel is a television show actually making you think for once (and no...not like Lost where they just try to confuse you). It's a common pain brought on by finally realizing that reality tv is (has been and always will be) crap.i'm loving this show!

Very interesting. Poor Claire, not too bright. Good move in stealing the Haitian's passport and boarding pass, but not so much in going to the one place that she would obviously go for help. When I saw the previews with a seemingly alive Simone I got pissed. Now I am relieved that she is still dead. Whew!

Peter doesn't really absorb the powers so to speak. He more or less mimics them... He's already used Sylar's powers when he went to see Issac. All he has to do is think of the corisponding person. and I agree this is how Peter gets his scar. I think it's strange that he would even have a scar at all if he uses Claire's healing ability...I think Hiro's assumption about "failing" is a little premature. Him still seeing a devistated NY only means he hasn't stopped it "yet"... obviously saving the cheerleader was only one peice of the puzzle I wonder if he remembers that rooftop?

I run the IT department for a company that tests software. Its a cool job, i get paid to break stuff like web sites, business applications, video games, and now voting systems. The pay is so-so, but its a good company with lots of good people just trying to do the right thing. The place is fun, but stops short of people drawing art on the walls with their own poo.Not to hijack the thread but we will be hiring soon for seasonal summer game testers. Its a good gig for those in college.

Sorry to stay off topic:Yes it would require living within commuting distance of Denver, unfortunately we dont offer relocation assistance. However, we do manage Public Beta Tests. The PBT's are compensated. If anyone wants to sign up and apply for upcoming beta tests just go here and create an account:
https://betatest.ibeta.com/betatestWhen new beta tests come up they will appear on the calendar. Right now we only have one listed, however we have 3 more in contract negotiation phase.
