It may not matter how much you eat. if you're like me and have a fast metabolism, you won't gain. At age 21, I was 6'2" and 160lbs. I'm now 42 and weigh 180lbs. 20lbs over 21years. I eat a lot, all the time and don't gain. My wife and all her friends hate me. It's great if you're a girl, but never being able gain any real muscle mass has always bothered me. Get checked out by your doctor before you try stuffing yourself, there may be other alternatives. Everyones body is different.

1-2 lbs in a week is about a normal weight gain for someone who's working out and eating a lot, the most i've gained is 12 lbs in a month and that was taking creatine, weight gainer 3 times a day, 3-4 meals a day, two a day workouts, even when I took steroids my weight gain was around that so go for it. right now i'm waiting for news on my shoulder so that i can get back in the gym and get some mass built up again I'm sitting at about 174/6 and can't do anything about it.
