Sweet!!! So...have you felt the improvement since installing it? Have you run another slalom since? And what did you think of the "clear bra"? I love mine! It has kept the front of my car looking new for years now!

OK I will ask, what is the "Fly Free! Ask Me How"?I am calling the number now! You got your car wet! (removed)!!! Kidding, I know it is your daily ride! Looks great! I like your Subi over other Subi designs! You will be hitting the NASCAR Nextell Circuit soon enough!

I doubt Subaru will make NASCAR but its good to see Subaru breaking out from the WRC. I have seen then run the same races as the hondas and porsche, GTOs and what not but usually with STi or other versions of the Impreza.

I got my IPT Valve Bodies and Solenoids back into the car. It's running great besides an odd ticking or buzzing sound. I'll have to have our tech take a look and see if anything is loose. car runs much better still, i can actually move the car now when I'm on the throttle. IPT said my clutch packs look good so I should be A-OK. now for the tuning. Looking at adding a K&N Typhoon Intake/heatshield and also TGV Deletes for more airflow. We'll see...

alright, gonna try something new.... sound clip. We installed the TGV Deletes but the K&N Typhoon didn't fit since it was for an STI. Well, one of the guys had and SPT intake and it didn't fit his since it was for an LGT. so by brilliance, we swapped intakes. I just need my heatshield now but otherwise, it's a nice set up. You can now hear the engine, turbo and BOV. Plus, Dale went through the car and fixed a lot of bad hoses and a boost leak. car runs 100% better!

and one more sound clip.. kinda longer as i was having to turn off the road before I could stop the recording. But this is basicly going from about 5 mph to 80 mph and then you hear the BOV when i let off the gas. I thought my turn off was coming up a little sooner than it actually did.

Quote, originally posted by millster »Nice! I really like those wheels on it! The others were good, but those really add something. Nice touch! well, it completes the whole "STI" thing. in fact, we swapped out the center caps that say STI for the ones that say BBS. only the 07 STI's have STI center caps. we have a second set of BBS rims, silver like mine, but the new bolt pattern so they will not fit on my car. That would have been too much to ask for, not to mention a lot less money. They will be Mav's winter rims. This is the 3rd set of rims my RE70s have been mounted to and the tire guy at the dealer told me no more! LOL. I traded him some Torco Race fuel for doing the swap (I know they are a PITA) but he did take the bribe. Mav weighed the ASA rims vs the BBS and they are approx 20 lbs (ASA) and 15 lbs respectably. That should certainly help with acceleration at the track!

got the hella horns installed a few weeks ago. Mav painted mine black so you couldn't see them. i wanted to go stealth. i decided to go with the STI rear lip spoiler instead of the OEM LGT one, so we patched up the holes, got the trunk repainted and installed the new spoiler. also installed a stealth FB box for the back, no more kicker solobaric sub eating up 1/3 of my trunk space! no pics of the sub box yetlook above for before picsforgot i did this too: JDM Zerosports shiftboot for the auto (ya, it confuses the hell out of people!) and momo leather AT shift knob.and more track pics and vids: i love this one!

oh, thanks guys. this has been my biggest project car thus far. i did a lot of mods to the VGT, but nothing like this. of course, i didn't have the means or funds to mod the VGT like i can the LGT. we're heading out for a week on Weds. I have to give my keys to our tech who will be building a custom downpipe (from the crappy cheap one we hammered to fit), Perrin turbo inlet hose, and Cobb lightweight crank pulley. I'm told it should help prolong my tranny and free up some response when i'm launching or shifting the car. I'll be taking the car to the track on the 15th when we get back.one of our friends did a photochop from a photoshoot we did last Sat. looks awesome. i think he may be on GVC too: IMJC or JC (he's got a trix and a TC)
