Congrats, Hope! Though I too am sad to see your Vibe go. Your Vibe always gave me some kind of hope that there is some other neat thing I could do to my car (even though I've never really gotten around to anything major yet, and maybe I never will). I am glad to see that you (and Phil) have stuck around here for the most part and continue to be active members here. As for the new Legacy GT, I must admit that I was not so hot on it at first. Things changed for me big time when one pulled up next to me in traffic 2 days ago---it was the same color blue that yours is. All I could think was "what the hell is that?", but in a good way. Then I saw the badges on the trunk when it went past and I was dumbfounded. Immediately my brain started going "how fast is it? how fast is it? how fast is it?" which is the main signal to me that my brain liked it and wanted one. LOL. I really like my Vibe and I hope to be able to keep it at least until I finish school (only about 1 year left hopefully), but after I finish school and have the Vibe paid off (though I'm not currently upside-down on it) I might still like to appease my brain and get one.It might be a good "in-between" car before I get my M3 that I want so bad. Let's see, if the Legacy GT has the same engine as the STi, then at least theoretically, I should be able to mod the Legacy's engine up to at least the same power output of the STi without having to get all totally crazy, no? That would be awesome. One more question. Does the Legacy GT require premium fuel?

And because of the turbo, it does require premium fuel.

Rats! I was hoping to avoid the premium fuel expense again(which I like to consider a "powerful car tax"), but for a powerful turbo car, it would be worth it.I think I'll test drive one. One guy's "very fast" may not be terribly impressive to the next guy. I have a tendency to freak out car salesmen on the test drive. When I test drove the Mustang before I bought mine, I think the salesman nearly "soiled his armor" (to borrow a line from Monty Python). The Vibe salesman took me up this big, winding hill and kept telling me "punch it, punch it!". I had to ask him if he was sure that he wanted me to do that because when someone invites me to really push a car, I go all out. He insisted, so I did. I think he had about as big of a s***faced grin as I did by the time we made it to the top of the hill.

LOL. it's very very fast. in fact, you can see how fast when i post my little "story" from today vs an audi a4 and a dodge dakota (not sure if it was the v6 or v8). i'll post the link here after i write it.
