At Home Depot the other day

Took this one at Petsmart yesterday. When we came out to leave, the Vibe was gone, but there was black 1st gen Matrix parked to the right of us .

I have been trying for days now to post some pics I took parked next to a vibe...and it says my pic is to large that is needs to be so many kb's....can some one help me pls....



I figured it out...

Went to walmart yesterday and had the pleasure for the first time to be able to park next to a fellow vibe....

It's Steel Blue Metallic. My mom's 2009 Vibe GT is the same color.

Vibenvy..ty I wasnt sure what is was called, I sure do love the color ....my brother has a white 09...we became a Vibe family over night u could say.

Same here (and not just because I started it )! I get so excited when I see a Vibe in a parking lot that I can park next to and take a picture with to post here !

I never knew this was a thing (during the last six years with my previous Vibe), but if everything shakes out so that I can get the new Vibe I'm looking at before it gets sold I will definitely start parking next to other Vibes.

Had my mom's Vibe at the dealer for the window switch recall the other day. When the tech was done with the recall, he pulled it right out in front of the dealer and parked it next to a Neptune 1st gen !

FINALLY! Got the opportunity to snap a pic of some Vibe luvin'.

So, for months now, ever since I originally saw this post, I've been purposely parking next to Vibes. There's no shortage of them around here, but it seemed every time I pulled my phone out to snap a pic someone would come out of the store/building and start heading in my direction and I didn't want to look like a weirdo taking pics of their car so I'd just play it off like I was trying to read something on my phone. This happened several times. lol

But finally, FINALLY, I was parked far enough out in a lot that, under the protection of 'no man's land' I was able to get a pic of one of my many attempts to pull off the 'Vibe luv'.



It's even a dual-luvin' shot with that Grand Prix parked in front of me. Mine's the one with the useless mini-window. The Frosty beside me is a twin of my '05 that died recently in a double-fatality collision with a deer.

PS - I see now, looking at this pic, that I apparently really was trying to let my Vibe get some action! Could I have parked any closer? LOL

LOL! Nice picture Mazzy ! I feel your pain about people coming out and heading for the Vibe you're about to take a picture of. A few weeks ago, I pulled into the parking lot at the local Walmart. I parked next to a cart corral and got out only to notice on the other side of the cart corral was a 2nd gen Carbon Grey Metallic 1.8L Base. I went to get my phone and here came a lady headed right for it . I walked by and said, "Nice Vibe!" She laughed and said, "Thanks! You too!" !

On a bit of a side note, my Vibe got some love and admiration from a complete stranger a couple weeks ago. My mom and I were parked in our usual spot at the local Aldi (on the side of the building where no one really ever parks and in an end spot!). We came out and there was an early 2000s Buick parked one spot over. There was an older guy probably in his 70s walking behind us. I was putting groceries in the back of the Vibe and I could see him looking at the Vibe as he was walking by. He stopped and asked me what kind of vehicle it was, etc. He said that it was really neat looking and seemed to have great cargo room, etc. We stood there and talked for about 5 minutes. I explained to him that even though it's a "Pontiac", it has a Toyota drivetrain, etc. He said he was looking for a vehicle for his wife after he was gone and he thought the Vibe looked like a great candidate. I told him they're a dime a dozen because no one wants to get rid of them because they love them so much, but you can find nice ones out there if you're patient. That guy made my whole weekend !

This unlucky Vibe at Lac-Mégantic need a truck load of love.

Just spotted a Vibe identical to mine ('09 GT, black) in my apartment complex. Stay tuned as I attempt to get a pic of the twins parked together without whoever owns it seeing me from their balcony taking pics of their car. lol

On the way home

I didn't get a picture (I didn't have my phone or camera ), but this past Saturday night I ran down to the local Walgreen's to return some movies to RedBox. I pulled in the parking lot and there was a 1st gen two-tone Abyss so I parked right next to it. I was standing at the RedBox returning the movies when a guy who looked to be in his 20s came out and got in the Vibe. He was looking at mine as he got in, but I couldn't tell if he was looking at it just because or if he was looking at it because he realized it was a Vibe too .

Oh, he recognized that it was a Vibe. It's a pretty exclusive club.

I'm going to have to start playing along. I've had two near photo ops in the past two days, but wasn't able to pull the trigger on a pic without looking suspicious.

Yesterday, I followed an Ultra White 2nd Gen into a Wawa in search of an afternoon snack, but I wasn't able to park close enough to it to snap a pic. Then today, at the same Wawa, I parked next to a Salsa Red 1.5 Gen, but the owner got back and drove off before I could get out and snap the pic. Who knew Wawa would be such a hotbed of Vibe activity?
