Last week 92 was $3.47, but it's said to be going up another .20 next week...right before the holiday...as usual. I'm sure the neighbor islands are already paying close to $4.00 if they're not already...

Filled up for $3.25/gallon (for 89 octane. 87 octane was $3.39) back on the 13th (at 7:45am). On my way home that evening (5:00pm) it was back down to $3.19/gallon. Gotta 'love' those electronic price displays.

The octane here in Utah is weird. Ours starts at 85 for $3.29, 87 for $3.39, 89 for $3.49, and 91 for $3.59.Not all stations have all four, if you know where to go you can get the 89 for $.10 cheaper than the other guys.

It was $3.45 here a couple weeks ago for 87. Leveled off to $3.15 there for a bit and now it's on its way back up. $3.25 I believe.I feel sorry for diesel owners, it's $4.09/gallon here right now. It shot up a couple weeks ago and unlike gas, it absolutely will not come down.

Still 3.21 @ BJs here when I filled up 2 days ago. Seems to have leveled off around here for the last few weeks. Of course the summer blends and higher demand will push it higher by the end of next month....Also heard on the news yesterday that the county I live in is letting the cap they set on the gas tax expire at the end of next month too, so we can look forward to a significant jump around 6/1.....

best we get is 90 octane. Right now, I'm just using that. it's $3.61/Gal and cost me $45/tank. I'm burning through the gas at the moment since I'm having to put miles on the car, but at least it's getting about 21 mpg since i'm out of boost and just putzing around town. still..... OUCH

I tend to over board with "rebates" including credit cards with rebates. It is somewhat like a hobby with me.-Shell MC 5% on Shell gas-BP VISA 5% on BP gas -Chase Rewards 5% on grocery, drugstore and gas (new accounts no longer available and I keep expecting that this deal may end soon)-Discover Business - 5% at Office Supply stores-GM Card 5% rebate toward GM autos (have saved about $5,500 in the past 10 years with this). Helped that in the old days you could pay your real estate taxes and college tuition at no extra charge with a cc - now you have to pay a processing fee to use a cc for those. And these rebates are considered "discounts" so they are not taxable income. If you save $1,000 a year it is like earning another $1,750.Of course if you can't pay off the balance in full each month you might be better off with cards that have a lower interest rate.

87 was $3.25 this morning by my work in Louisville, KY. $3.55 when I left work. BTW, about the rebates, a Marathon station had $3.55 without their credit card, $3.37 with. Not sure how their program works, but that's a substantial savings there. Back home in Indiana, I found it for $3.41 so I went ahead and topped the tank off from 1/2. 30 cents in 12 hours is a steep fricken price hike!

Gettin' my super Ninja 250r (quasi moped/scooter) oil changed tomorrow. Finally warm enough to ride up here. No huge laughter please, it gets 75 to 80 mpg. With gas at 3.50 and up a gal it's not a bad way to commute. The Vibe will have to do the rainy days. I can't believe we are paying this much for fuel. A big chunk of the money we pay for it goes to people that don't much care for us. Those kind folks in the Middle East supply a large part of the average 10,000 gallons a second that we burn (U.S. consumption all oil products). That's some big freaking treasure we are sending them each day.
