army of two never got cuz i heard it was meh...I still wanna try it though.from all the reviews I read, GTA4 is better on ps3. on xbox i guess theres longer loading (hahah stupid ppl and no hdd's) more pop in and shorter draw distance. So I'm leaning toward the ps3 one... but i wont buy it for some weeks, I'd like to see how it pans out and get gt5 and other games taken care of.

got this off IGN.com in their review article on GTA4Quote »For those wanting to know which version looks better, the edge goes to the PS3. The textures and framerate are comparable, but the PS3 has far less pop-in. The 360 has richer colors, but the PS3 has better anti-aliasing making it look a little cleaner. Because GTA IV can preload onto the PS3 hard drive, the in-game loads are faster. Don't worry Xbox owners, the load times are rarely more than 30 seconds and don't occur very often. The slight visual edge goes to PS3, but the 360 is no slouch. Either version will do you proud.looks like PS3 wins in this one!ontop of that, watch this review video ign did, game looks so amazing i cant waithttp://xbox360.ign.com/dor/obj....html

yup i heard the x360 has lag issues, long loading, pop in and short draw distance. HAHAH and i had all these x360 fanboys making fun of me that games install to ps3 and they suck...uhhh id rather have them install and not have those problems so almost done with class A in gt5, wow there are some hard trials. Online can be fun, but i hate when some ppl just ram you off the road, so lame. I hope they do friend online soon so we can get a room and join up to play.

I gave up on the online game play in GT5. I only have 1 S class race left, Ive raced it probably 15 times and the best I can get is 9th. It's the 700 point race on the Suzuka Circuit. Cant beat it no mater what. I'll play some tonight but then its all about the GTA.AronEdit: I almost forgot the AI is crooked in the S class also. Will ram you from behind going into a corner giving you a ramming penalty, or will ke tapping you on the rear quarter panel giving you a penty as well.

http://ps3.ign.com/articles/874/874021p1.htmlwas reading up on the new one..it's an online-only based socom, so theirs no single player..but the socom franchise has been mainly all about the online..alot of cool new features coming..hopefully we can get enough people from here to make a clan and kick some (removed)

Okay, I just picked up Ferrari Challenge. This is the most realistic handling game i have EVER played. It makes "forza 2" feel like a straight arcade racer and GT5p feel like a slight arcade game. I have been playing over 2 hours and STILL cannot place 3rd because my race line sucks. The best I got so far was 6th. Much more practice needed for me. If you want to actually "race" this is the game to get, its FANTASTIC. Graphics are slightly less as good as gt5 but still goodhandling is ultra amazing, maybe better than gt5AI - um yes they actually do stuff! better than gt5p, they fight back, wont let you draft etc. sound - music is ok, engine = awesome, i just turn the music/effects down and engine UP!easily a 9 out of 10 game, if you want a "sim racer" get this!I am going to the 12am rls of mercenaries 2 in a hour...almost got it at walmart but it wouldnt ring up tuesday :/ said "not allowed for sale yet" darn! almost got away with it early

I picked up Guitar Hero World Tour on sunday for the PS3. While its still just a guitar hero game, its got a lot of cool new features. You can customise your character and even alter the ones that come with the game. A lot of cool animations this time around, I noticed my guitar hero singing along with the lead singer. Got drums this time around. I haven't tried that out yet, gonna leave that for the wife. Star power is different also. you get cool lighting coming from your guitar.I've been playing gigs in career and the battles are a lot different from GH III. Instead of battling and making them miss notes and such, you simply have to play against the boss and do better then them. I won both battles cause I didn't miss a note. You simply need to end with the crowd cheering you more then the other guy.But the player vs player battles still exists. There are a ton of new songs. I still need to go online to get the rest of the songs.Freak On A Leash (KORN) is probably my fav to play so far.

watch out GH:WT symbols on the drums are known to break real easy. So I would assume they will be having some fix/recall.

Insider: Activision knew all about Guitar Hero WT defects before releaseAn industry insider has followed up on our news article which noted that Guitar Hero World Tour may be on the verge of a broken instrument epidemic. Our trusted insider has come forward to further confirm the problems mentioned yesterday, by revealing some interesting news from when he added the Best Buy Media Holiday Kickoff 2008. He told us that "when I was at a recent show, before the game was released, they were demoing GHoT.... they must have changed the cymbals 6 times during the show. AT LEAST." The respective show was held on September 22nd, so our insider notes that Activision were very much aware of the instrument problems BEFORE the game's official release. I personally know nothing, I am just passing info on

They are not real cymbals, you can't wail on them. just tap them works.

The PS3 rocks.... had to share my "race chair"... i tried using my wheel and pedals on a little table but it just wasnt right. I am fascinated with the physics engine in GT5 Prologue. Cant be beat. Combined with the forcefeedback wheel, its amazing. Now if only I can figure out how to integrate some hydraulics into the chair frame, I could simulate turning and braking forces.... Seat is adjustable From the drivers seat...

thats wicked cool!If your seat starts moving, better put in a harness bar.

Have you tried Ferrari challenge? IMO its better than GT5 for physics. Ill post up pics of braggamerights racing chair that I use. I freelance for them and they got a sweet race setup w/ a real racing chair and the nice 6spd logitec steering wheel.

I've been playing Tomb Raider since 1996 when it first came out. They got Tomb Raider Underworld coming out Monday. It ties up some connections between Tomb Raider 1 and Tomb Raider Legend. Looks really cool. I'm going to pick up a copy next week. Anyone else play action/adventure games besides me?

Its got some insane system requirements for the PC. I had everything but the min requirement of 2gb of ram. So I could only play about 10 mins of the demo before running out of virtual memory and the demo closed. But I saw enough... its a beautiful looking game. Best in the series so far by appearances.

I'm finding some minor glitches here and there but nothing to important. But the graphics and size of the levels... wow.The demo of Thailand is about 1/4 of the whole level. Took me 3 hours to complete and that was 3 hours of constantly moving, solving puzzles and getting to the next area. I hear the game its short... but 3 hours for that level didn't feel like short to me. The areas are huge and beautiful.

Well I picked up the new Prince of Persia for the PS3 the other day thanks to a fred myer's gift card. Very cool game. The levels are beautiful and the traps are interesting to say the least. Ubisoft Montreal made this one and the story is pretty gripping. Had a twist at the end that left me kinda and then as it sunk in lol.Great game IMO

That chair is a killer set up. I have been playing mirrors edge on ps3 lately, pretty cool game. It does get a little repetitive though.
