How did it meet its end?I drove that BoB (bucket of bondo) to the junkyard, gently, because I never did fix the motor mount that broke, allowing the engine to rear up and pull the throttlecable to WOT, and just gave it to them. (After taking off a few minor parts mybuddy needed for his 68 Cuda)

1969 Oldsmobile Regency 98 with the 455 ci rocket engine! Would pass anything but a gas station!

Oh now that Olds is a beaut! I've always loved huge Detroit iron from the 60's.

1957 Chevy 210, 2dr sedan. Repainted Root Beer brown. Had a weak 283 in it, and someone converted it to a 3 sp manual from an early Corvette (longtail w/Hurst "Syncro-lock" floor shifter) from a 2 sp slushbox (4.10:1 rears.)I put in a rebuilt 327, 300 w/power pack heads, 11" clutch and a 4-bbl Carter. It would pull rubber in all 3 forward speeds and reverse, but would NOT pass a gas station. (Average, 9.5mpg.) It topped out @ 110mph (+/-) when the valve train (hydraulic) and ignition couldn't keep up any more.
