hmm nothing special..skylines, 350z, evo, imprezas..cars similar to those..class A is more of the exotic high end cars and muscle cars

I waited patiently for GT5. I got it the day it came out, too... and I've tried to enjoy it....but...maybe Xbox live spoiled me. Forza 2 just kicks GT5's (removed). PS3's online play just doesn't cut it. The online races are so cutthroat i'm glad nobody is miked... several times I've been leading the race in the last turn just to finish dead last because someone decided to punt me rather than use SKILL to beat me. That coupled with untuneable cars just really makes GT5 an also-ran in my book. Will I stop playing? Nope, I want to beat the game, just like I've beaten every GT game (except 1, I could never get 100% on it). But to say I'm dissappointed in getting 1/3 of the game that was SUPPOSED to be a lunch game...over 2 yrs late!!! and to have it play like this..... Sony better buy a 360 and learn how to run online play!

ya partsguy, i didnt like the online portion of GT5 so far. as for the cars being tuned, you have to beat the game apparently to unlock the tuned portion..of course the real game will have the option to tune right from the get-go.i've have similar races like you've had, be in first or 2nd, then go into the corner, i get punted and have to slow down to much and everyone passes me..i dont finish deadlast like you've said..but i lose a good 3-4 spots depending on how close everyone is..but i didnt like forza 2 online..i've had the game aswell and wasnt impressed with it

Well, it's not just the online play..... take for example the VW one makes races. If you GET bumped, you get the penalty. If you get more than one wheel off, you get a penalty... so if you get bumped off the track, you get a 10 second penalty??????? yup....it's has to me 3 or 4 times now trying to beat that race.... btw, the AI cars go WAY off the track and never slow down, nor do they slow down when they hit you.

lol yes i've noticed that too..they can end up in the sand and like 50 ft off course, but somehow manage to still be ahead of you and pull away?

yeah I tried the Nissan GT-R event. Was given a 20 second penalty at the first turn lol. Didn't win that race. I'm not much of an online racer so Forza does not appeal to me at all. However if you could set up online races with friends/people you know in GT5... do that instead. That way there might be more respect on the track.Who's beaten A class yet? I hear thats when the tune option becomes available.

im half way done the A class..i havent done any of the manufactor races yet..and i dont think theirs a way to do it..i dont see any options at all..maybe in the actual full game?

k i got like house chores and running to do, but im going to fire this game up again and get going on it! if you make your own online game, can you turn off the bumping like in forza, so everyone is a ghost?

dont know..when u go online they just search for a game and everything..theirs no actual options to it..probably the full game it will have something like that

what car are you using? I know some cars are required for certain races but whats a good one to use for the others? I wonder if you can use tuned cars in A class. You can buy a tuned car from the dealership options. I'm tempted to buy a tuned Vette.

right now for the "all manufactors" races i use the tuned '06 evolution X GSR..you can even use the tuned ones in class B..my next purchase is either the tuned vette or tuned viper for the class A american races

what did you guys start with? I did the ford ST, its been good so far

i started off with the mazda rx-8

k almost done with class C. 2 or 3 more races left....

I started C class with the Integra, started B class with the STi (07) and started A class with the Ford GT. Daytona with the Ford GT is a good grind course for credits. You get 20,000 for coming in first. I'll have all the cars I want in no time.

man i haven't posted in this thread in like 3 pages. i missed out on a lot of conversation it sounds like prologue is dope, but i don't think i'll be getting it now. i think the next game i'll be getting is nba 2k8, and then GTA4does anybody have nba 2k8 or burnout paradise?? i rented those yesterday, but so far, i've only played my cousin online on 2k8 once. i have to take em back on tuesday, and i'm off tomorrow, so let's play

i also got the '07 impreza and then got the tuned evo for the A-class but need to get a few other cars to finish up the specific courses.i've played burnout paradise..beat the game with in a week...got all the cars and got all the little extras(billboards, fenches, unique jumps) a fun game but i find it boring after awhile

yeah i played it for a couple hours yesterday and was already at 20% with a class b license, so i went back to playing 2k8. i agree, i think it's a lot more fun when you play with friends or other people (i've played burnout 2 with friends). the ai players get a little too easy to beat after you know what you're doingthat's the main reason why i like renting games before i buy them. i've beat several games within the rental period and was glad i didn't pay full price for em

yea..it's an easy game for me..im just a natural lol im waiting for GTA4 and the new Socom thats gonna come out..im gonna be on there 5-8 hours a day..

yeah i've been playing racing games since i was about 5 or 6. my friend who is stationed in japan til 2010 wants me to get cod4, but i GOTTA get gta4 and nba 2k8 before i get that

i had the cod4 for the ps3..dont know why but i enjoyed it more on xbox..theirs alot more people on there for some reason...tell you're buddy to get socom when it does come out..we can start a clan up and pwn all the n00bs!

heres how you get games, wait a little while after they come out, then go on ebay and get a new unopened game for like 15-20 dollars less than retail. Thats how i got sega rally revo, plan on doing that to get cod4 (maybe) and I think F1. I got sega rally for 35bucks unopened new

do you purchase your games on one of the ebay stores? i used to buy a few games off 2 stores..game liquidations or something and another one..was pretty good..but certain games i buy on the day they come out..GTA4 and Socom..

yeah he'll probably get it. he's a marine, so he's really into those type of games. i don't know if that's why he likes em so much, but i remember him playin a socom game for ps2 a few years back

north, that's how i got ninja gaiden sigma. i read some descriptions from different sellers and they said they were selling it because it was too hard. the guy i bought mine from said he only played it once. when i got it, the only thing missing from the game was the plastic wrapper. it was in perfect condition. every store out here wanted $60 for it, but i got mine for $32 shipped

I usually end up getting mine from random ppl. the stores usually sell for to much money. I just do a advance search to see what other "new" games have sold for.

I've only bought a couple used games... usually because either I didn't care they were used or because no new ones were currently available.

ya MRCN i played socom on the ps1 and ps2..played it religiously lol..was one of the top guys if not the top guy in any clan i was in..my rank was in the mid thousands(4000 or so) i miss socom alot..

Im done with the A course. A little tip for thoes that like to drive without the TC and Stability management on. The F-430 race is a hard race with them. I couldnt even place 15th without TC and ASM on. With TC on 5 and ASM on I could get to 3rd. Now its time to start getting gold in all and to do the S courses. The S courses are kinda a pain because you still have to Tune your car to a point value so you dont walk all over the AI, I guess its cool that it does keep it competitive though.Aron

i havent gone too far into the A class..but i usually have my TC on 5..or even 6..and my ASM is always on..

I probably won't beat A class until I get back from Mexico. Going to soak up some sun and forget all about work and GT5 lol

you cant forget about gt5...its going to be nagging you in the back of your mind the whole trip....gt5....play gt5.....do it.
