I had the same issue with one of my 18s not holding air last spring when I went to put them back on. I took them to this tire place (Flatso's) in Yorkville and they took the tire off and re-mounted and balanced it and only charged me like $15.00. Really nice guys !

I have discovered since purchasing my '04 base model with Auto trans, in late September '11, that it is impossible to consistently fill the vehicle. The mileage was all over the place. Finally backed up and set up and Excel spreadsheet entered all the fillups since the beginning.I have it calculate the MPG at each fillup, and also total the gals column and the miles column and divide to get an up to date running average.I also track what station it was filled at, and if it was ethanol free. I'm in an area where some stations have vapor recovery systems and some stations do not, and this makes a big difference in how well it fills. Some cars do not like packing the tank, it can actually hurt the mileage, so I let it shut off and then round it up to the next even dollar and quit usually. The average eliminates variables like a tank not full. It you add the miles and the gallons and divide, then it doesn't matter what happened in between, so long as it was full to start with and full at the end.I also have the spread sheet calculate a median average, you array the individual mpg numbers from low to high and select the middle one if a odd number, or average the two middle numbers if there is an even number of them.I keep track of Odometer miles also.Result is ten fillups since I bought it that I could check mileage using 107.355 gals, and 3397.1 miles traveled to get 31.644 MPG and spending $377.04 doing it. This is about half at 72 mph for 20-30 miles and most of the rest at 35 to 60 mph on open county and state roads.Median mileage is 31.135 mpgThe majority of this was winter fuel and almost no A/C.By tracking stations, I can see if there is a trend in quality of gasoline that might affect the mileage, especially with the ethanol free gas, or a station with out of calibration pumps (since 90% of the time I use the same pump at a given station.Charles

124 miles using 3.439 gallons - 36.05mpg - 100% highwayThis was the first time I was able to check mileage on just highway travel and wow, scary good even when you factor in uncertainties like consistemt fill-up and such. I dropped my daughter off at college today and drove close to 100 miles home before the needle seemed to move at all - I thought the gauge was broken! Hence the reason I filled up with such a short distance traveled. Have been averaging high 20's in a mix of city and highway driving to/from work.

I haven't posted my MPG on here, but I've been tracking it since I got the 2010 GT. Best one tank was on the trip home from the dealer 3 hrs away, 28.77mpg traveling at 70+. Running average over 3,865 miles is 24.93mpg with mostly mixed driving, probably 60% hwy, 40% city, with some traffic every day. But I do drive it kind of spirited around the city, so I expected it to be a bit low. One of these days I'll drive it carefully for a tankful to see how it does. Nah......

OK. I don't get involved on this topic much because I haven't t filled up my Vibe since October Now juniors Vibe is a different story. We took his Vibe up to Kettering university in Flint Michigan for an admitted day for all upcoming Freshman (he'll likely be going there to college ) and went 65-70 up there and 60-65 on the way back. Got 29.8 mpg. Not as good as what my manual would have gotten but still OK.

My last fill-up was 7.7L/100km (30.6MPG U.S.) with about 70% of that being highway driving. It's been pretty consistent this year - my best being 7.2L/100km (32.6 MPG), and the worst being 8.0L/100km (29.5 MPG) when we actually had some deeper snow to plow through for a few days. Can't complain too much for a 2.4 auto. All of my stats since new can be seen through the link in my signature. I've tracked every single fill since I purchased it almost 3 years ago - 197 to date!

04 vibe AWD, charleston WV, to columbus ohio, back to charleston WV, (about 380 miles round trip) never stopped for gas, very little "in town" driving, although there was some stop/go because of traffic, and storms, 29MPG was the mileage we got, it wasnt fun filling up the gas tank with hail, and 40-50MPH winds matthew

30mpg, about 70% highway, including really high winds and driving about 70mph. Love the warm weather making my intake happy again. Also enjoying my Delta Sonic rewards card... 30 cents off per gallon of gas today!

Second tank and I'm up to 22mpg. Still had my lean issue for a bit of this tank but I also had about 90 miles of highway driving after fixing it on this one. Was hoping that would bring my average up more than that.

06 Vibe GT27mpg city avg. 31mpg highway avg so far. I cruise at 75-80 though. The 06 Corolla XRS got a pretty steady 27/38 after the ethanol gas showed up so considering the extra weight and difference in aerodynamics, it's pretty close to what I was expecting.

I've put 3 full tanks through my vibe (09 base w/manual). I was happy with the results. First tank was 27.8, second tank 28.4, 3rd tank was 31.1. All of those tanks have been roughly the same 75% city driving. My highway runs are usually less than 5 or 6 miles at a time. I did have a couple 80 mile round trips where I was mostly on the highway.

30.0 and 30.1 on the last two fillups, mixed driving! Hooray for spring!Chris got 27.9 on his first fillup in the GMC Terrain, 50/50 mixed driving, which is damn good since the Fuelly average right now for that car is 23 (but I suspect those people are just not fuel-efficient drivers).
