30,000 kms since February 2003. No problems at all besides the continental tires being terrible in winter. Love the car still.

Bought mine at the end of September 2002 and I just hit 14,000 miles the other day. Right about on par with the past several years of driving miles. I usually have driven a little under 10,000 miles per year consistantly. I drive just about every day at least once, but when I look at the odometer, sometimes I feel like a little old lady! LOL

high, but no record breaking pace for me. I'm at about 55k miles (~88K km) after 19 months, that's about 2900 miles (4600 km) per month.some other random statics - for those 55K miles, overall average 36.15 mpg, pumped about 1520 gallons of gas through it which cost me about $2400, about avg $1.58/gallon. estimating overall average speed for those 55K miles of ~45 mph, that's `1200+ hours driving the vibe so far. a GT getting 30 mpg and premium fuel at +10¢/gal would have cost me $3080 for gas(glad they never came up with metric time)edit 1/21/2006 hit 100,000 miles today

19,500 in 10 months, average mpg 34.6. Just changed over to Mobile One. I usually put over 250k on a commuting vehicle before it is dead.

http://www.iceestudios.comHoly mileage batman! I think you maybe the first to go over 100,000! Unless I am mistaken. I have just crossed 20,000 miles. Delivery on August 31 2003, today is August 7 2004. 20k a year, about my average.

I haven't had any major mechanical problems. What I do have is my driver and passenger power windows are scratching my tint, of course the paint problems, and the oxygen sensor on my vibe needs to be changed. Only thing with the oxygen sensor is that the vibe has 2(!) so there seems to be no way to tell which one to change without hooking it up to that expensive diagnostics machine. Other than that...all is well.

The second sensor is just to monitor the function of the cat. If it was toasted, the code would read differently, e.g."defective converter".

Well, that could mean that the second sensor is malfunctioning (fairly cheap to fix) or that the cat is indeed on its way out. (not so cheap, but should be covered under the emissions warranty.)

(not so cheap, but should be covered under the emissions warranty.)I just had a bad dream that my car was accelerating hard while I was braking repeatedly...made me do a 180 on a busy highway...and on top of that my driver's side front tire went flat! I'm pretty sure that it's the second sensor...the problem I'm having is choosing which one is the second sensor. I work a LOT(evident by all the miles I have) and to put it on that diagnostic machine just for the dealership to point out to me the part number I need seems like overkill. However...if I can't figure another way i'm going to have to take off a few times to get it done. I apologize for hijacking the thread and thanks, Madbill, for your help.

The O2 sensor that monitors the condition of the cat is the one downstream of it, i.e. furthest from the engine. BTW, some auto parts/repair stores will read and explain codes for free...

I actually had the codes read by over three different auto parts and repair stores and none of them could explain which one needed to be replaced.

Well, isn't that a pain! On GM pick ups, the code tells which of the four O2 sensors is the problem; don't know why they wouldn't on the Vibe. However, I believe they are both the same p.n. so if the repair facility flipped a coin and got it wrong, the worst would be a few minutes more labour to switch the new sensor to the other location.

Somewhere close to 58,000 miles. It may have gone over, not sure - I don't pay any attention to that anymore. I just keep the trip on the display all the time.

A bit too much I think. 3 roundtrips - Upstate New York/Michigan - 350 miles ea wayMichigan to Chicago... 270 milesChicago to New York... 600 milesOccassional trips to Syracuse from RochesterAnd VERY VERY short trips to school from my apartment. I won't be making anymore long road trips for a lonnnnggggg time!
